Hi frani! Hope u can see and respond to my comment, i became a CPA last 2017 and I’ve worked in a big 4 firm under assurance for almost 2 years, then i got promoted. But I didn’t proceed with the senior role. Instead i shifted to finance work in a private company and i’Ve been working here for 3 years. Im considering applying as an assoc again there in Malta, since its been a while since I’ve worked in a auditing firm. However I’m not sure if im selling myself short ☹️ though I’m open to working as an assoc again, I’m not so sure about the promotion opportunities there in Malta. Do you have any insights about this? Hi! I had the job offer December and came in Malta in May. Medyo matagal kasi manual pa noon. Usually ngayon nasa 3-4 months na lang ata depende sa visa. Un ata ang bottleneck now. You are required to pay taxes here kasi dito ang job situs mo.

Not sure if rude to negotiable 30k net annual wage but the client offer 28k only for managerial role lalo na 1 yr & 5 months palang sa big 4 audit as acting senior. Currently tinutulungan ako ng recruiter sa desired ko but sabi ko okay na me sa 28k, nagworry lng po kase medyo tumaas rent now sa malta hehe
@@karlspersky audit firm to? Pag aud firm ang AM nasa 37k manager nasa 41k gross. Ang semi senior nasa 32k gross. I think better assess mo and don’t be afraid to negotiate.

I already got an offer and i feel like i was getting low-balled big time. I was offered a minimum salary for an accountant which is very sad. I already sent an email to about the salary and the average salary in Malta. Hoping they will increase if not back to square one.

Hi. My suggestion is to Go for whichever mode is most comfortable for you. If you feel like you can drive your point through a call, go for that. Or else, send them an email saying that you are greatly considering the offer but you have apprehensions about the salary and if they are open to negotiate the remuneration package. I suggest better to be prepared for the amount your eyeing so if they ask you, you can immediately tell with certainty your target salary😊
@@franiwithoutane3109 Thanks Frani! What about the benefits? Namention mo kasi something about travel allowance, etc. and how some employees regret that they weren't able to negotiate? Can you tell me more about what I should look for or negotiate in the contract in terms of benefits as an expat?
@@lorelieprotacio4915 i dont know much about other offers. but personally In my current job we have travel allowance yearly and monthly local transportation allowance. You can also look into the private insurance that will be provided to you if they cover outpatient cases as well. With regard to negotiation, some kasi dont negotiate despite the fact that they aren not sold with the package. Im just saying to try to negotiate in case you want or expecting a higher salary instead of keeping mum about it. Personally i hate what ifs so Im hight encouraging those people who, as i said, is not happy about the offer, to ask to negotiate. In any case, the company doesnt accommodate the request, at least you said your piece😊 no more wondering 😊

Hi, honestly parang wala akong kilala na tax na nakuha dito sa malta. Baka meron hindi ko lng kilala. But, most talaga ng nandito is external audit. If you want to open your opportunities abroad not just malta, i think external audit is the way to go.

3 year na ako nag work sa office Ng expiditors pag pumunta akodiyan Bali kakilalA ng tita ko invite sa akin 5 years na siyadiyan dadaan paba 1 year na magtrabaho sa factory after 1 year puede apply sa offrce
Hindi naman po need talaga magdaan sa factory pero un iba po kasi un ang way nila to get here faster. May mga office work po na job openings pero ang tanong po is willing ba ang employer to support po para mapapelan at madalha sa malta. So yung iba po nagreresort sila sa mga work na willing ang employer na magsupport. So if willing naman po ang employer ninyo na mahanap, wala pong problem.
Depende po yun sa agreement po. Ako po personally may travel allowance po napinrovide sa akin yung employer ko po. Nasa negotiation po yun kung bibigyan po or hindi.
@@jenverjulian8201 ayon po sa google meron daw po.. hindi po kasi ako masyadong magaling or maalam sa mga company dito pero usually pag verified naman po ang google totoo ung company
You need to find first an employer that will process your malta work permit. You can't have work permit without having an employer or job here in malta
