Glenn Ridge and Jo Bailey introduce the first of the Australian heats in the 1993 Ashes Series against England, filmed at Nine Network Studios in Melbourne.
The Australian contestants had been chosen from recent SOTC Champions to provide the toughest opposition to a strong England team. First they have to beat each other for a place at the top table and a chance of $100,000.
Aussie Quiz legends Anthony White, Jonathan Quiff and Stephen Rimpas battle it out at breakneck speed in Episode 3 of the 1993 Ashes Series.

Anthony White is an old boy from my high school Sydney Technical Boys High School. He came first in the state NSW HSC with 496 out of 500 back in the 1980's. Absolute genius.
