Hi, at the second of the big roundabouts at 16:42, you say you can use either lane, but should you signal right as it's after 12 o'clock? I have my test next Monday and would really appreciate clarification!
Different instructors teach this differently, I teach if using the right hand lane, signal right on approach, and signal left after first exit to show you are leaving the roundabout. If using the left lane a right signal on approach may confuse other traffic in the right hand lane. Not signalling may confuse traffic waiting to join from Benchill, use effective observations and depending on traffic decide if a signal will help or confuse other road users. Does that make sense?
