Love both I got the Bodega's over WBTG's. The Salehe's go well with a fit but you ain't rocking them every day, but the Bodega's go with everything and will still remain classic years from now.
I got the Salehe Bembury WBTG, Bodega HTS and Kith Genesis on their way. I guess I will see how they look in person to decide what I end up keeping. It might be all three. Great review of both of these NB sneakers.
I have the Bembury and they are stunning! I have lots of shoes so I don’t need an every day color way. I love the pop and the unique materials. I left the blue laces. The others weren’t as good imo.
When I decide to try and get my hands on the NB joe fresh goods. I was blow away when I made a trade for them and seeing that it’s made in the USA with nice material. This sneaker should have been sneaker of the year. NB will be getting more of my money.
I think NB is always a win once I hop in a 997, 997s or 998. I haven't tested out tons of other models other than the 57/40 which I love. NB went from the mocked dad shoe brand to the interesting kid everyone wants to be friends with now, old and new.
I like the 990v3 silhouette much better than the 2002r, BUT, water be the guide is the better sneaker overall due to concept, colorway, story. However, to me, new balance of the year is the Joe Freshgoods collab
the Bodegas for me! I could rock them with any fit, and they’ve got the perfect amount of “pop” and details. So excited to wear the fug outta my pair 💯
I can tell this guy is relatively new when it comes to wearing NB because all I heard were shoes that were collaborations and while yes, those are some of the highlights of the brand, the actual core of the fanbase resides in the GR's. Also, Joe Freshgoods first collaboration with NB was on the 992, not the 990v2 lol. Lastly, no mention of the greatest NB silhouette of all time, the og 990, the first sneaker to cost $100??
Some people would get offended at a comment like this, as many RU-vidrs want to be viewed as unequivocal experts in this field - like we can’t make mistakes. Like we can’t be students of the game. I’m not one of those people. I appreciate someone who is clearly more versed in New Balance than I am enlightening me. Notes have been made. Thanks for watching.
I said “LIKE in New York” to explain what a Bodega is, not that Bodega was founded in New York. I’m aware it was founded in Boston. Thanks for watching.
