Definitely get a bespoke wardrobe company out to measure up and give you some ideas for storage. We had bespoke built in’s and they’re the best thing ever, fully customisable. A considered purchase but worth every penny. Love the video as always x
I always watch the weekly vlogs a few times. I put them on while i tidy or organise so always miss bits. Its a lovely bit of company to mundane tasks ❤
I’d say get a joiner in to design it for you. But in the mean time could you hang a pole from one wall to the other over your baskets, then put the coats on there. Would give you more room for coats and hide the baskets behind.
I think you had wrapping paper in a big green bag with red handles. In Christmas cupboard. You also had some under birthdays wrapping paper in a long clear box
Lounge Fly bags - a peg board on a wall so they hang flat against it but individually so you can see them. Maybe where the hanging rail is at the top of the stairs - is there a bit of wall there?? Where you have the round baskets of stuff, could they not be stackable, see-through long boxes so they fit under the slope of the ceiling but not fill the whole floor area there? (Vacuum bags inside) I love a good bit of organising and moving things round!! X
Defo get a local carpenter to make you some decent shelves and storage. I'd have floor to ceiling cupboards\wardrobes at the end where the desk is. Enjoy x

Organisation heaven! Had to use storage whilst we built a house and it was great as I swapped out seasonal stuff when I needed it. Managed to live in 30x12 feet static for 3 years with two kids and a husband and still had all the decorations! Defo get a quote for storage, think you’d be pleasantly surprised! Xx

I bought 4 rolls of wrapping paper in the sales after Christmas and then the day after my parents found 11 rolls in the back of our closet. ELEVEN! Haha!
What I’ve done is number all my storage boxes and type a list of what is in everyone, tape this to the top of the box and keep a folder on my desk with a copy of each box contents and a note of where stored so when we go up into our loft we know which number box we are looking for.
Emma, why don't you try to get an estimate from a carpenter to sort out your loft? You'll be amazed at the clever storage solutions they can come up with, tailor-made to your available space 😀 😉
I am completely snowed in in Nashville. We got 6 inches of snow on Monday and it was -1°F (-18°C) last night. I live in an apartment complex at the bottom of a steep hill. All of us are stuck probably until at least Friday, maybe Saturday. Luckily I have plenty of food and my heating works. But I’m going a little stir crazy or as us Americans would say, I have “cabin fever”.
Maybe longer wider boxes you can stack ontop of each other and label. Would removing the sofa clear up some room? Shelf’s where you can. Desk in the middle units either side 🤷🏻♀️ Love organising ❤

Maybe an ottoman type thing in the sloping space? I have one in an awkward spot in my hallway and it does a great job of hiding and keeping all the junk that used to get left out there tidy
For the wrapping paper why don't you set a reminder in your phone for a day in november/early december that says where you put it? It's what I do for everything I only need once or a few times a year because the brain fog is real 😂 and everytime I move things I add a new reminder so I may have a few options if I forgot to delete the last one but there's less places to look and I know it should be in one of them
Omg you spent so much in The Lush shop! 😮😮 . I think they are so Overpriced and I can’t even afford one let alone all them . Now your two are now in high school , I am surprised you still do a present box for their friends.
Could u not put a blanket chest along that wall with slope? You wouldnt have to totally open it & itd go with the shape of wall to open? I have one on wheels xx
Didn't you say once that Steven is a quantity surveyor, he must know someone who can build you some units that provide storage and fit perfectly your space
