I love Salim sahab’s interviews. He is such a humble man. In one of the interviews with Rajeev masand he accepted that separation was because of him and he apologised for that. Salim-Javed is iconic. No writer will be able to fill in their shows.they have given writers a name. Film makers started showing respect to writers just because of these two gentleman. All respect ✊

Salim saab is brutally honest and self-respected person. He speaks truth and there is great amount of conviction when he narrates the fact. It really hurts when credit for your work is taken away and passed on to somebody else. But he is a very graceful person and doesn't minces words while narrating facts. Whatever happened between him and Javed saab is really unfortunate but he rightly says that every association/relation has an expiry date. Hats off to him. He is a living legend.

Yes salim sir deseved the recognition and donot compare with both legends together. They create great movies script screen plays together whoever had contributed much or less and they were together for a time period and they got their own ways. Salim sir was mostly script writter and screenplay writter and javed also learnt from him but javed is well known songwritter than screenpmay or script writter even i donot know salim javed duo write those scripts of movie. So i think who gets more amd who get less. We cannot compare amir khan and sharukh khan based on who get more recognition in terms of awards and their popularity.

I have listened to many interviews. Dharmendra says I made Amitabh, Salim-Javed also claim the same , Mehmood helped him in his initial struggling days so he can also claim I made Amitabh. The same goes to Kader Khan who wrote many dialogues in his movies. Now even Amitabh Bachchan is confused who made me superstar.

My Father was a VP in a company where his boss was childhood friend with Anil Ambani.....Once my father and his boss went to eat dinner in famous restaurant in Ramada in dubai and Amitabh, Anil ambani, and jaya bachhan where also waiting for their table to get ready........Long story short my father got opportuiny to have dinner with all those famous people.......and since my father boss handles all finance of company.....he also paid bill for all of those celebrities (with company credit card obviously)..........Later on My father's boss said to my father that Amitabh never carry wallet when goes out.........no hate to anyone just a fun little story to share

I guess Salim was so smart and successful most people felt insecure of him bcz he was also smart enough to realize his own potential hence he could foresee potential of others . Amitabh doesn't want to acknowledge his mentor bcz he doesn't want to share credit . Kudos to Salman for not bearing grudge for those who wronged his father . I can't be so forgiving
