I love her and I believe her I am Mexican and Black and I made an attempt to become an actress, but now I am so glad I never made it as a huge actress. God did not have it in the cards for me. I’ve done some things, some commercials and background work, but I am glad that I never made it big. I don’t want this entertainment world today stealing and controlling my God given gifts. Not only is her beauty allowing people to overlook her marriage with a man who promoted something so heinous with children, but also people overlook her belief there are too many people in Africa, and it needs to be controlled. Favorite movie from her was The Bandidas and the film featured Penelope Cruz. Both Salma and Penelope are best friends and almost like sisters. Love them both. I hope to have her sensuality and feel for her to be honest. She got taken advantage of too many times and doubt anyone could go through what she has done. She is a great, dedicated actress! For those in the comments saying that Salma, Shakira or Lupita are not actually Latinas because they have Lebanese or because Lupita is actually black let me tell you that being “Hispanic” or “Latino” is NOT a race or ethnicity. We latin@s come from different backgrounds and origins we may come from black, indigenous, middle eastern, white, Spaniard background and still be Latinos and speak Spanish. As a matter of fact Latin America is a melting pot of ethnicities, but most people in the states think we all are brown, with black hair and a mixed featured which we are, but not in the way media sees us. Countries such as Dominican Republic, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, etc have some of the largest African and middle eastern immigrant populations.

Like Salma as an actress *but* I find it interesting that a vast majority of celebrities and elites find that Africa is over-populated and more birth control needs to be practiced there. Oddly enough, the land mass of Africa (being the largest continent on the planet) far exceeds its population by 20-1. Actually, Mexico is more over-populated for its area landmass but you don't ever hear of Africans complaining or commenting about Mexico's birth rate.🤔

You know Trump didn't actually pay for that date himself, he gets other people to pay for him or just doesn't pay the bill. I'm sure that's why he didn't show up. He likes to pretend he gives to charity but doesn't actually. I think Salma is so sympathetic, she has a certain look but unlike other women like that she is so likable. With no disrespect to him at all her relationship with Edward Norton was extremely well-documented with numerous red carpet appearances over years. She spoke of his support during her passion project, Frida. It was him and Penelope Cruz that seemed closest to her from her interviews then. As a fan of both of them I recall thinking they're a great match in talent and he's supportive but they still broke up. Even what might be great matches aren't always forever. In terms of coverage was her most signoficant relationship before her marriage. Not even her Josh Lucas relationship was as featured in the media. But I will definitely Google this. I've clearly followed her career but didn't know a thing about him such that I thought Atterton must be Norton who was a significant other in the literal meaning of the word. 🙏🏼

I was very impressed after watching her in the recent indie film Beatriz At Dinner. She plays the antithesis of the sexy seductress (or does she?). Her acting range is really authentic and I love that she goes out of her comfort zone, like in this film to play a totally different character than she is accustomed to, and supports the small indie film genre! It's an emotional movie I recommend it. I always admired the slow thoughtful way she speaks (Spanish, English etc) and how Salma carries herself always with poise and grace. Love that you covered her, she's very much an icon.
