Second salmon adventure for me this summer. Went again with friend and fishing team member Mike Homan. Big thanks for taking me and my friend Russell out while my boat was down for repairs. Looks like fun boys..takes me back to fishing with my dad as a kid.fished port hope/harbor beach in mid 80's.was some great time's and good fishing. Thank you for the memories guys.(rip dad)..thank you fella's

I got a beckmen net about month ago and really like it.

I purchased that net at the Hooked Up tackle shop in Algoma Wisconsin www.hookeduptackleshop.com/ but I also have a Stowmaster TS120 that I like a little more just because it folds up so i sold my Beckman to Mike. This video where I brought it to let Mike try it out.

My family and I are going to Algoma this weekend Aug 8th. I am only able to fish from shore. Any suggestions Nick? Or anyone?

It will be tough fishing unless we get some strong west winds to bring the cold water in close. My favorite shore tactic is casting 1/2 and 3/4oz Kastmaster or Little Cleo spoons. Good luck

I gave her hell... Despite the weather. My 10 year old daughter even sat out there from 8-mid night. Seen 2 small trout or salmon but they only chased. Going to Bayfield in Oct for my 10 year anniversary maybe I will have better luck then if there's a place to fish from shore.
