The time of day??? That’s a million dollar question. 😊😀Well I’ve been out early morning (first light) and caught many and not caught anything. Same as mid and late morning as well. The afternoon and evening is the same. The only thing I know I alway look for bait and if bait is around the salmon are not far from the food.

Another thing I don’t leave fish to find fish. If I am in search mode just driving around hitting all my old waypoints. You caught a fish I waypoint the spot. Once all setup again I will hit that spot two more times if I don’t get caught up again then I move on. I have gotten my limit on a solo trip by 8 o’clock on two occasions. Salmon are a schooling fish so if you catch on there are usually more. I hope this helps
