In June 2023 happened the ultimate adventure in Norway, salmon fishing on artificial baits - lures, spoons and spinners. Location about 500km north of Oslo, camp Svinsoyen Laksefiske. We were 7 days on river Orkla, searching for salmon and that's not easy fishing at all. Salmon is only staying in the fastest stream of the river, never in calm parts, and it took 4 days before first bite happened on spinner. I reckon salmon fishing as apex of all salmonoids, since this is extra wild and strong fish, tend to make long runs and jumps out of water in all directions.
