Like actually crazy. This was my first time going to max Hazard and the amount of times me or my random Teammates couldnt put in their eggs because of frame rate drops and thus losing the round (because for some reason the time ticks down like normal while we are moving in 0.1x speed) was abnormally high.
@@sethstersbench possibly one of the main reasons for the frame drops + all of the enemies pilling up. I noticed that the fish Sticks are causing this the most if they arent getting cleared. Still weird that the 100 seconds counter runs down like normal when the whole game is slowed down for everybody
this was my first time in vp, (i would be stuck there but alas, i have friends with different timr zones and they almost all play ranked or turf, so i play with randos) and safe to say i got deranked due to all the insane lag because the timer didnt go with it and my luck with weapons was really bad. i didnt even get a tri stringer at all (my main)
You are one of my favourite Salmon Run players on RU-vid. Your mechanical skill is really incredible. Absolutely cracked. I am new to Splatoon. I love Salmon Run but I tend to be stuck in the lower end of EVP and can drop down to Profreshional. Watching you play is both entertaining and educational for me. It helps me avoid tilting in freelance because I avoid blaming my teammates and focus on my own mechanical and decision-making failures. I am nowhere near your level but it gives me a nice window into what the highest level of this mode is like. Thanks for uploading. Good luck with your exams btw.
oh wow your movement is so satisfying to watch the highest hazard level i’ve been on is 190 and i thought that was hard, you guys coordinate so well! nice job on this rotation!
As you’re a veteran salmon runner, I was wondering if you were aware of how the flyfish baskets target. The left blue basket targets random players, and the red basket targets the closest player. I’ve found better team survival when blowing up the blue basket first since it means less people are getting targeted if the flyfish isn’t killed in one cycle.
@@redwaller1 Actually, I was informed a few days ago that this is only partially true. The baskets behave this way when both baskets are still up, but apparently, once one basket is blown up, the flyfish always targets closest player, regardless of which basket is left over. Still useful in some ways, though! I suppose I had some confirmation bias in my survival rates.
@@Huskie297 aww. Sadly this can't be used to develop strats then. Otherwise a player could've prioritized a basket based on circumstances. Still- now I know if there's 2 flyfiah to do one basket each first. And then go back for the finisher.
My goal is to accomplish a Hazard Level Max rotation but I never gotten one and the big mistake I've done is going with randoms. Highest I've ever gotten was 210 EVP
freelance is really tough sometimes :// if you haven’t already, I’d join the salmon run discord server! I’ve had a lot of luck going past 300 with some teammates from discord!
Question - Why do you collect so many extra eggs on these waves? Especially during low tide, when you could just try and survive near the regular tide shore?
you get more rewards after the fact for collecting more eggs than required, but there is a community of profreshinal (hah get it) players which participate in overfishing- in which the goal is to collect as many eggs as possible during the rounds. theyre incredible at the game (as are these guys) and its amazing to watch them play, i highly recommend it.
this is so interesting, I feel like I learned a lot just from seeing another person’s thought process and perspective. I wish salmon run had a replay feature so I could go in and see my co-workers’ perspectives during crazy shifts
For real it's like impossible to find good teammates more than once per rotation 😔 I'm not saying I play that good but decent enough for us to clear the 3 waves if everyone was to play about the same level, yet my win to loss ratio is negative rn lol. I'm not accusing them but it feels frustrating when you know it's not your fault you de-rank. can't even play anything else than freelance because I have no Splatoon friends lol :(
@@laobozu549 Majority of the issues in Salmon Run is lack of communication commands. Nintendo is solely at fault here. If we could tell people to use specials, or to fall back, most of the problems would be gone. Despite it being an analytical issue, if people could read what they need to do, 9/10 times, people would adjust.
@@Xgil2Play i really hope that at some point in an update you can actually use all 4 d pad buttons for communication, and you can change them depending on what mode you're gonna play
The way I agree with this so hard and like... I try not to blame my team because for all i know I'm the one at fault here because yes, sometimes I throw and I recognize when I do that but it becomes so apparent it's not you when you're doing all you can to lure bosses, try different techniques on waves, going as far as even going on a massacre (and not dying) for a bunch of eggs last 10 seconds and no one comes by to at least try to pass them. Sometimes failure is inevitable but lately it's just been failures that could've been prevented if people weren't so focused on fighting or leaving base unattended. It's frustrating as someone who knows they can get to EVP and has done it before when I was still new to SR 😕
@@Xgil2Play you're right, especially since we still have 2 untouched buttons next to the "booyah" and "this way" that seem to be only waiting for this and they won't do anything. I understand they want the interface to be as simple as possible, and I like it, but this won't be too much, and would help freelance to be closer to team play in terms of confort. I now they won't do shit but, we can hope that one day, in an update maybe :(
My first ever max hazard grizzco run, oh how I remember it like it was on splatoon 2 yesterday (it actually was) me and my team barely lasted a minute.
