Not sure if those are scotty rod holders or not but look to be the same material. How do they handle the big salmon hits. Anything that ever concerned you?
Yup, some are Scotty’s and some are cabelas. They seem to hold up just fine and I’m not concerned with anything. You just have to make sure to set the drag right. If your drag is cranked tight and you get a big dipsy hit.. it might not be good
Currently i have a 3, 5, 8, and 10 color set up that i cycle through. They all have there good/ not so good days but I’d say 10 color is usually my best producer
Did you guys run any SWR’s on your dipsys? I’ll be going out within 2-3 weeks again just trying to get an idea with the bite and what spread i should focus on.
Nope i typically just run my 2 wire mag dipsys. Lots of guys have been catching fish on flasher flys lately but we couldn’t quite get them dialed in on this day. Right now the morning bite has been good in the top 50’. Late morning/ afternoon seems like the fish have been deeper but i guess that depends on the day
@@Trevyweight No problem. lol nope, maybe I’ll make one again someday for CNC outdoors but as for right now IG is a no go. Love my RS Green Bay net! I think I’m going on 5 years with it now.
