Shinguuji is the best V3 boy, I don't care what other people say. The way he's so cool and smart, plus his cultural anecdotes, made me fall in love with his character immediately. I adore his interactions with Saihara and his small anthropology lessons are really interesting, they made me want to research all the stuff he mentions during the game! He's very stimulating intellectually. I know why he's so hated, and I do not condone his actions at all. But since he's just a fictional character, I still enjoy everything about him.

I already said I do not condone his actions! I could never try to justify them, especially the incest (murder is... pretty much normal in the Danganronpa series lol). I generally like to dismiss it as him being completely mental and delusional anyway. My point is that he does not exist, so it's not like he committed these crimes for real. I can still enjoy the good aspects of his characters, like his cultured mind and general sharpness.

tw : me complaining about kork being done dirty by the writers and why i think he's innocent they did kork dirty by not even representing how traumatizing it prolly was to be groomed by your 20 sum sister when you're a literal 10 year adolescent. shit, i have a brother 10 years older than me but what korekiyo says about his sister is TOTALLY dissociated from reality and is even romanticized. he was abused sexually and emotionally, there's no doubt.

THANK YOU! I agree completely and if more people understood, aka, if the writers made it more clear, people wouldnt dislike him so much. I see a lot of people who dislike him just because of the incest but they only take it at face value. There is so much more going on.

Spoiler Have you seen this picture on which he is hugging his sister. He does not look like himself. It is clear that he was abused and manipulated to think that their love was perfect. Ok, so todd haberkorn, the voice actor for korekiyo and teru teru, actually does alot of videos for miss mojo or a channel similar to that. In one of the videos, they talked about an anime where a sister and a brother fall in love and he says it's weird. I find it ironic that he voiced korekiyo and korekiyo watches an anime film about a sister and a brother falling in love, especially after he filmed that video

I love this funky little dude! They just did a shit job writing an anthropologist. An ultimate one would never call anywhere "uncivilized lands" unless there was literally nobody ever there, which of course would make it pretty useless to someone studying human beings. An anthropologist's work should never be purely extractive!
