"Light up the candles, one for every year that's gone" is the deepest, most melancholy lyric I've ever heard in a birthday song, period. I can't imagine how many parents had to try to hide their tears from their kids after hearing this song and being reminded of how precious and fleeting life is when they were expecting your average cheesy birthday song.
This song always gets me in the feels man. It starts out as a corny birthday song for parents to hear in the background as they watch their children devour pizza and cake. But after the first “yeah yeah yeah” it shifts to a beautiful, melancholic melody as the animatronic characters go silent and the acoustic guitar softly lays down each note. Suddenly it hits you. You’ll never be able to live this moment again. To your child, it’s just another birthday, and you can always come back to Showbiz for their next one, and they can even play this song again. But next year, it’ll be different; one day they might even say that Showbiz is for babies, and it’ll only have been a few years since this very moment. All of these thoughts hit you at once, and a lump forms in your throat. Then, just as your little baby’s about to ask if you’re okay, the characters spring back to life, singing that chorus and reminding you that it’s just a silly birthday song, sung by silly characters, at a silly restaurant. This had to have happened to at least one parent in the 80s.

I know this comment is late but I love this song after years of hating Chuck e cheese I never knew what I was missing out on this song introduced me to the rockafire av explosion
This is the right type of birthday song. Meaningful. Make you cry in a good way. Chuck e cheese birthday songs just are soulless, and cringey. I wish Showbiz was still around today so i can experience this.
the 4 ones that disliked are E. V. I. L. this song is very good if you didnt get it the first one is e, the second one is v, the third one is i, and the fourth is l.. e v i l evil
@@tslavworks I know, I still think it's out of place though. I mean, I like the song anyways, I even like that part. But it does break up cohesion slightly
A little girl at Looney birds she had her birthday party and the host and to stand in a circle and say something and PS. Choo choo is a baby bear who doesn't talk at all
"2 little monkies jumping on a bed, one fell off and bumped his head, the mama called the doctor and the doctor said: no more monkies jumping on the bed" and near the end sal says "i love you billy bob"
mitzis design is inspired by queenie from the wolf pack 5, which was originally a fox and what aaron fechter wanted in the RAE, but the higher ups at showbiz wanted a mouse character due to the popularity of cec and disney's mouse characters. so fechter compromised and repurposed queenies design to create mitzi and most likely the higher ups wanted a va similar to minnie mouse
Her original name was "Mini Mozzarella" too. It should also be noted that this was recorded before Mitzi's regular voice actress, Shalisa James, joined the crew, so Monique Danielle plays her here.
