I may be misunderstanding the point and it’s valid to acknowledge the statement of adventure losing its true meaning to be a bit gatekeepy, but just for clarification this entire project was shot and filmed start to finish directly from Leo’s home, so in a literal sense this was a ‘backyard’ / local adventure

I agree with this sentiment, although one of the common definitions I see is "an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity." I think the purpose of the statement was to say that by using the word too much, we lose sight of the mentality of pushing yourself to new heights and instead think of what we can post on Instagram (the irony being this was made and posted to RU-vid). It is similar to people that travel across Europe saying "backpacking Europe", when in reality they use a backpack to store their goods, but they use public and private transportation get around, which still fits the definition, but doesn't feel right, as they are not using the backpack for anything more than a suitcase.
