Emily, good for you for taking some stress off of your plate, although I will miss you every week. I love all of your projects and look forward to seeing them each podcast. ❤❤
lol, stitch bibles are such a gem! Tho, for pattern designers like y’all, it’s just fuel for the pattern fires! Love that! You always make such nice things!
Oh Emily you are doing such a good job on your own. I am glad you have taken some stress away by just recording every two weeks. I also love that you do things with your children. You have such a giving heart.
After the last episode, I crocheted a star shaped blanket ( different pattern) for donation! Loved it so much, I will be making more! Thank you for the idea❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing your stitch dictionaries. I have a few different ones that I look through, but the Japanese Stitch Dictionary was intriguing. Even if I just admire them, that would be worth the purchase. Thanks again.
Loved your references to the knit stitching dictionaries. Think I would like to get the ultimate stitch all rounder. Love your under the stars quilt Emily, I went to the site and got the pattern. Looking forward to the wrap reveal.
Hi Emily, if it is not against any copyright laws, I would print a copy of the key, perhaps laminate it and keep it in the book as an easy guide to use when you work.
I never thought of using a stitch dictionary (or reference book) for inspiration. Good idea! I have been looking for a good knitting reference book because i was lead astray a couple of times by relying on youtube videos! Thanks for expressing your opinions. Beautiful baby blanket.💜
Hi Emily: Thanks for the stitch dictionary recommendations! I was given the Japanese stitch dictionary. I find it very difficult and too complex to use, unfortunately! Lovely podcast. Have an awesome, amazing, and memorable Mother’s Day! ❤❤
Wonderful recommendations for stitch dictionaries. I miss seeing your happy face and lovely knits each week but understand the stress that entails. I'm interested in why you cake Opal yarns? Have a wonderful and blessed Mother's Day.
You’ve talked me into making the star baby blanket. And I have the same yarns you used just languishing in my stash. Im curious what hook size you used? Also the D&D movie sounds great. I love fluff movies with no hidden agendas Happy Mother’s Day
Yes! My best advice us to find a relatively simple pattern that is both charted and has written instructions. Reading charts at first just takes the time to look at it and try to translate it. When you have the written instructions as well to refer to, then you have an automatic place to verify that you are getting it right. Maybe I’ll do a little spot about this in a future episode. 💕
