Duh the average human drowns in 20 feet of water imagine the dozens maybe hundreds of feet deep that water is, ontop of the freezing cold temperatures and extreme current. Simply going waist deep in that water would be a death sentence seeing as youll most likely be immediately sucked deeper into the current. If u want to die a painful and slow death in freezing water, then swimming in that water would be your best bet
