Madz Wright just to add to this. im a spearo aslo. kingys can get to a full weight of 60 to 70 kg so this one would easy be 15

We use flashers and burley (chopped up fish). Also a lot of luck.

G'day I just use an old stainless steel necklace with a pendant and put it around my wrist. Both shiny things and noises attract curious fish, especially king fish in deep waters.

Hi guy I am new to spearfish and was just wondering if you could requirement so place some good basic places to start with easy access to the shore as i don't have a boat and I am new to spearfishing. I heard long reef was a good place to start from one of the guys at extreme spearfishing in brookvale. any help would be great.

Yeah Long Reef is good but would recommend North Curly or North Freshwater as good beginner spots. North Curly is super easy to get in and out, just swim from the beach where the rocks start.
