Music sounds like a Disney Sing a Long - images are inspiring and uplifting - quite a contrast to some of the other Armed Forces tributes with footage of WWII soldiers. Both have their place. This one is triumphant and glorious. Thanks for it, josh rutter, or whoever put the video together.
Great video, but a couple mistakes, half of the Air Force footage was of Navy aircraft and the order of play is not correct according to protocol. Thanks for sharing.
@argus1948 - I understand if you are annoyed but I made this video for a Veterans service for a church and a choir sang with this...this was like their accompaniment ....I put it on youtube because some Veterans from the service wanted me to...you said you didn't mean to be critical but you were....I did not appreciate your comments at all...I did not do this video for you or youtube...if you are a Veteran then yes I did it for you also...but...I made this video for Veterans!
They're not even apart of the "Uniformed Services." They're only an Auxiliary force of the Navy. The Coast Guard, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines are the Armed Forces. The "Uniformed Services" include the NOAA Corps and the Public Health Service.
And, they're only an "Auxiliary Force" during wartime. So, I guess since we have been at war for decades they could be currently considered an "Auxiliary Force of the Navy". But even when they are not considered an "Auxiliary Force" many of the officers are actually commissioned officers of the Navy Reserve. I could easily see them as a "uniformed service" to satisfy original OP "3rdOfficerTaylor". But never an "armed force". I wonder why that has not happened?
Because the Government is the Government, the Coast Guard should be DoD or be removed of it's military status, but no they want to confuse every idiot who can't read a law.
The jet launching off the aircraft carrier is an FA/18 Hornet and is strictly a navy aircraft. Unless there is an air show and the Blue Angels are performing or the plane experienced trouble you will not find an FA/18 at an Air Force base. The air force does not launch their aircraft from carriers nor do they land them on said carriers. Also the Air Force did not have A4 Skyhawks for their demonstration team as is shown when the Blue Angels are performing shortly after the carrier launch
Produced by ignorant people. "Caisson Song" went out in the 1950s. "The Army Goes Rolling Along" is official song of US Army. You need to apologize for posting such crap.
