Michael Tamer the best catchers will throw from their knees (when throwing out a runner) because that second it takes to elevate can be the difference between out and safe.
What a cannon. And thumbs up to Bronxbommer42 for the vids. No music. Just real baseball sound. Not like some other guys shitty crap music uploads. A. J. D.
ItzChicken GAMING I wouldn't argue with you on that. But once Yadier is done (either retires or obviously passes his prime), who better to replace him?
I am an 11u catcher for the Cincinnati Reds LL (Little League) team and my coach said that I need to work on my throwing. He said to me to watch these videos to learn the movements to help me with plays. And I have to tell you, all my years in LL I have only thrown out one guy. It was a throw to third base, relatively easier. He said watch the motions and work out and I would be able to throw a guy out at 2nd base. A few games later... I had thrown 17 guys out in the minimum of 3 games. So my point is thank you for making these videos, not because they are amusing and relaxing, but they can help. :]
I may be a jays fan, but Salvy Is definitely my favourite player. My dad and I went down to AZ for spring training this year and I got a picture of him signed. He was the friendliest player there. He signed at least 100 autographs and I got one. I also think he is one of the most underrated players in baseball. He is hands down the best catcher in the mlb defensively. Posey is a better hitter though.
I understand you can't make people like/enjoy/watch baseball. But my God, this is ridiculous. So much fun to watch. It seems like they pitch outside to right handed batters just to have Salvy pick them off first. Such a beautiful sport.
Daniel Varney right I'm a royals fan both Alex Gordon and Salvador Perez can through people out and the runners reaction is wow am I really that stupid?
Salvy, the heart, soul, and cannon of the KC Royals!

BronxBomber42 You got some great content on your channel, have been binge watching since I stumbled across it. This video makes me yearn for a general (not player specific) video covering incredible plays by catchers (hint, hint)!
being a catcher is more than sitting down to catch the ball is to strive and I have it 12 and I'm a catcher it's difficult but these videos help me follow my dream of being a big league catcher
Holy Crap!!! I'm one of the biggest Yadier Molina fans there is, but I'm also a catcher, and I can't deny a quick release and bullet arm when i see one
As a Royals fan it would be obvious bias to say he has the best career out of all the good catchers playing right now but now that Yadi and Buster have reached and passed the pinnacle I'd say he was the best this year. But even if he's behind those guys, 3rd best catcher in the world isn't too bad of a title
+strokerman01 I can't think of to many players in history who could gun out someone who wasn't going for a steal like that. That speed would be a decent fastball. He's doing it without any prep time or wind up really. Imagine if he had a couple seconds like pitchers do.
