Black people are not the only people of color! Clearly you are half Native American and your skin color and features come from that, when people assume someone is african or black because of their skin color or features it is ignorant because Native Americans had strong features and beautiful brown skin, with long straight or curly hair like yours
That explains why your're so handsome ;) Your curly hair is typical of mixed race Africans and your eyes are very native Central American :) A beautiful blend!
You're beautiful. Anyway, thanks for sharing your results. I've seen a lot of people from Central America with similar test results. A beautiful mixture.
Im also from El Salvador and most people there are mixed but with a strong Native American ancestry. El Salvador recived African slaves during colonial times...look for a documentary called (Piezas de Indias) its about African history in El Salvador, and infact, the documentary says that El Salvador recived slaves from Senegal. El Salvador has been historically inhabited by Native American people, the Lenca, Maya, Pipil indigenous people. Then the Spaniards invaded and mixed with the Native Americans. Spaniards also have Arab Moorish blood, so that is why many people of Spanish ancestry have middle eastern blood in them. That blood was introduce when they came and mixed in the Americas. However El Salvador did have a large Palestinians immigration during the early last century. The Melanesian is un-heard of to me in El Salvador. However, perhaps you may have Filipino ancestry. I know people in El Salvador who have Filipino ancestry, the Melanesian could of come from there.
Josue Abarca Como Hondureño que soy los conozco como son de hipocritas until you guys come to this country se daj cuenta que hay Blancos y Negros etc... los conozco bien como son
Those Asian were the original blacks of Asia the more you read the more you will understand. I had Asians tell me from India and the Philippines they ancestors originally were black.
Congratulations Enrrique on your Awesome Results! WOW! 47% Native American! Your African comes through Loud and Clear! Lol! Beautiful Ethnic Mix! Thank you for sharing!
+CzarJuliusIII: I did, too. I thought he would have been about 20 percent African. He is a very handsome young man. People like him are the FUTURE of the world, imo.
The should have just left them to die during the dark ages.. That's what east(mainly kush and Egyptians) and west Africans gets when they except and teach white people there knowledge
West Asia would not be the Moors. Southwest Asia might. SW Asia refers to the Arabic and Levantine people while the West Asians represent the people from the Caucasus region as well as parts of Anatolia/Asia Minor. The conquerors of Spain would have been a mixture of North Africans and Southwest Asians. Many Europeans have West Asian ancestry in at least trace amounts because it was through West Asia that agriculture came to Europe.
My family is from El Salvador too... my papa's side from San Miguel... my mama's side from San Salvador. Awhile back I started tracing my papa's last name and to my surprise I found the origins to come from Morocco... so I got really curious. My papa didn't know his father well, he only said he thought his father looked more Arabic, but my father came out very pale skin... so pale he burns in the sun, so I assumed he was more European. From my mother's side you see a mixture of Native and Arabic looking relatives... I finally bought the kit and got my results. I was truly only expecting African in the 1 -3% range, but I got a higher percentage. I also got Native American, European, and Asia West... it really surprised my parents to see the amount of mixture in my DNA. I've now bought a kit for my papa so we can see his results too since we can't get much more information on his bloodlines as both his parents have passed. I'm just surprised that I'm mostly POC... yet I lack the color in my melanin and came out pretty paled skin myself lolol... well at least I can tan I'm the sun and not burn! Thanks for your video... it inspired me to get my DNA tested!
Yes, you're part African, a number of Salvadorians don't know that they might have African blood, your hair tells the story. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afro-Salvadoran
100% Salvadoran descent. I love these types of videos about dna, genealogy and ancestry. I took the 23andMe test and my results were roughly: 53% Native American/E. Asia 49% Native American 5% East Asian 35% European 21% Iberian Peninsula 2.2% Italian 13% Trace Regions in the South & NorthWest. 5.4% Sub-Saharan African 1.7% Middle East & N. Africa Less than 1% S. Asian Less than 1% Oceanian 5% Unassigned/Unknown
Sweet!!! I did tests for my momita and auntie (they are from Honduras, but my grandma's family was from Nicaragua). They got almost the same results as you...we're probably related :D The Irish blew my mom's mind, apparently the Celts came from lived in France and the Iberian Pens. (Spain) first then migrated to Ireland. Probably explains why I ended up w/red hair...crazy how DNA from centuries ago could still pop out!
Very Interesting, came across your video and decided to watch it!!! I totally can see how it all makes sense in the bigger picture of things...? The South Pacific islanders are of ancient Chinese and I'm of Polynesians decent and I think it's unique to know our DNA!!! Thanks for sharing💖
at the end of the day the whole world is mixed. your place of birth is just that. we all are a mixture of goodness. cool to hear your results ma. I'm salvadoran too but like yourself I'm sure I'm a trail mix. btw your English is great..cuidate mucho amigo
loved watching your results, congrats!!!! I was was laughing cause we literally have the same hair haha, i thought i was looking at myself for sec lol. I posted my results on my page (Puerto Rican) hope you get a chance to check it out :)
Omg it's you! I watched your video the same day you posted it lol great results as well 👌🏻😹 omg I was so obsessed with this that I think I saw a thousand of videos I saw your like twice 🌞
Enrrique Chinchilla haha awesome man! Yeah I am soooo the same, I think i've watched like every dna results video, I cant stop watching them haha. So exciting, especially for latinos because we are soooo mixed its literally unknown what precentage we will be. I've convinced my parents to take the test too yesterday so I'm excited to post their results when it arrives. :))
+Chuckie V I honestly have been searching for Latino results cuz you know there is so much mixture in just one body & just interesting to know what are you made of (literally)
Finally a video from a person from Spanish speaking country that is not ashamed of having black ancestry was thinking higher was shocked it was lower. Good video.
Ashley Lopez Salvadoran problems, lol . I am from cuscatancingo San Salvador and I am deeply in love with Mexico , oh Mexico !!! long live Cuzcatlan and el salvador.
very cool!! i am also salvadoran, and did my DNA test thru ancestry.com to find out details... the African regions traced were very similar to yours, I also have Senegal, Mali, Togo/Benin and North Africa in my results. Curious for other afrosalvadorans to trace their roots too. Much love, respect!
Omg great results! (Btw you are also very good looking as well 😌) for some reason when I saw you I thought you were half Black and half Japanese or something.
Nice Enrique, it may be good for you to note..that most Spanish people( from Spain) not only come out with the Iberian peninsula but with Italy and Greece, for those 2 countries also colonized Spain. So if you have Spanish ancestry it would be safe to assume y ou would be carrying the Italy and Greece markers as well and probably North African and Middle Eastern markers for Moorish in Spain. The Irish thing is probably part of the Celtic Tribes that were in Spain. Hope this gives you a better summary. You can also call them and they will give you similar info.
Just an addition: I married a Mexican like me, born Stateside of full Mexican parents. My 2 sons were SO different. One VERY light skinned, they called him Casper sometimes at school. They LOVED him when I'd go live in ES with them. My younger son looked like you, except his nose is even bigger, his hair more kinky. His skin is a bit lighter but when he's in the sun he goes darker. They don't look ANYTHING alike though they have the same parents. When I married their father I told him to NOT be surprised if we had a dark-skinned son. In my family I don't look like ANYONE else. My hair goes light brown if I'm out in the sun, light skin with freckles!, I've never been skinny but thick, long legs and short torso while everyone else has short legs and longer torsos. And no one has curls but my sons and I. And sadly I'm an only child and my only female cousin hated me because she thought our grandma loved me because of my skin color. Racism in ES is alive and well. STILL.
I just love how you young whipper snappers today think everything takes soooooo long. Born in the instant age of immediate everything. Waiting an entire month for something...oh the PAIN...LOL Ok good video though. Glad you got your results. How much was the cost for the test?
You are my one of my favorite DNA reveals on You tube. No te preocupes sobre tu inglés con tiempo tu vas ser excelente. Tu inglés es muy bien. una abrazo.
Interesting break down. Perhaps you could do the family tree & find out more. I'm only 5% British even though my father is British and his father's line goes back to 1500's lol. It may just not have been passed to u. And it also shows some Native American which I suspect is actually something to do with Asian slaves in South Africa in 1600 & 1700 which I know about anyway. Keep digging it's fascinating. Defo try GEDmatch. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
cool, im salvadorian too and your results are probably very common with salvadorians as 87% of us are meztiso or half white and native american, although most chalatecos are white but 12% of salvadorians are white and 1% are native american. I want to do the test too, saludos de un chalateco en orange county california
Love this video! 😁 I was shocked that you got 11% African as I know from history mainly Native Americans and the Spaniards were the 2 dominating cultures in El Salvador. I may sound ignorant, and I apologize if I do, however; I didn't know that the Africans had an influence in your country!😞 I will def chck into this as my ex boyfriend was from El Salvador & would tell me about how Africans didn't have an influence en tu pais. Thx 4 for sharing your ancestry with us!😁
Hi! Well unfortunately as you say Africans are not really an influence in El Salvador since there is a population less than 1% of pure African descent as well as pure indigenous people mainly because of the genocide in 1932, but today is becoming a much diverse country and little by little the African is showing up in the population:) thanks for your comments 💮
what company did you use? it's very upsetting that they don't specify what types of native american, but they specify for other continents. They really need to correct that.
+claritarejoice His test was from dna.ancestry.com which plans to eventually separate Southern Amerindian from Northern Amerindian. People who have significant ancestry from these areas such as the video poster should apply to join Stanford University's Bustamante lab's Amerindian DNA project which will show which tribes are closely related to them. Fill the survey at bustamantelab.stanford.edu/
I'M SO HAPPY A SALVADORAN FINALLY UPLOADED DNA RESULTS! I've been waiting for someone from El Salvador to upload one as I am Salvadoran as well and kind of feel like the results may be similar to what I may get when I fianlly take one
11% surprised me I thought it'd be less the average Hispanic American I've seen on RU-vid have been like 6-7% and they like more African than u but yea DNA is a tricky thing especially with ppl of colour.
Interesting DNA. Just looking at you , it seemed to me that you have some oriental DNA and of course Native American. You seem very nice and we are what we are.
Do not accept your DNA results as pure gospel; that is, the truth. I contacted Ancestry DNA because I wanted to know how our DNA was determined. They told me that they only have samples from Ireland, Europe, Africa, and Asian regions. They do not have any samples from Native American Indians, Israel, etc. Ancestry.com told me the DNA results are not complete. Maybe in a few years when they have other samples such as native American Indian, etc. the results will probably be more accurate and able to identify how much Native American Indian are in our DNA. If you notice, most of the DNA results only identify basically Europe, Africa and the Asian regions. Also note, Ancestry DNA is owned and operated by Mormons. They are only interested in knowing how much Caucasian, Black, and Asian an individual has in them. This determines who is allowed to enter their Mormon temple. If you were told you have Native American Indian blood, accept it. Don't discard that truth, because some religious grou;p does not feel that information is important. Your ancestors know more about your ancestry DNA then anyone. Stop believing what you are told. Do some research. Ask questions in order to find out how reliable the information you are being fed actually is. Be Blessed,
Were you born in El Salvador? Where you parents born there? If so, where? And also, search up your last name and it's origins, it's most likely from Spain! I'm pretty sure(like 100%) sure that I'm Native American too, I think I might be Pipil. If you're interested, there's a lot online to teach you about your ancestry and the mistreatment of Native and Indigenous peoples & Blacks! in El Salvador(sadly). If you are Salvadoran please reply from where you are from, I would love to get to know more about my people!
Hi, I am from Ahuachapan. :D I already have made the research about my tribe in my town and it's called poko-mames, but their culture is gone and so are the pure ones, also I found that in my town there is a lot of people with slightly African features because it was like a gate where Africans could enter from Honduras and they were actually brought from Senegal which is the largest percentage of African in me and I found it out not long ago, so that's very surprising to me 😀
Wow! That's amazing, honestly I am so conflicted because I want to help out the Indigenous groups in El Salvador when I grow up but with the gangs and corruption, my parents are probably won't ;et me, even as an adult. I think the Natives in El Salvador are so resilient, especially after La Gran Matanza. I am from San Salvador but both my parents come from different places(San Vincente, etc), I also have bloodline from Europe(Spain) and other parts of the World I don't exactly know where, I think we should seriously embrace our Amerindian ancestry!
Sorry that was a bit long ahah, but I never had a really thorough and in depth talk with any fellow Salvadorian, did you move here recently or when you where young? I cam to Virginia when I was 4! You have a thicker accent than me, but I still have trouble with English and it makes me so angry when people make fun of refugees/immigrants for their pronunciation.
Spain was colony of Rome. Lebanese and Greeks had colonies on the coast of Spain before the Roman empire. This is probably why Italy/ Greek heritage and Middle east shows up a lot in Latin America.
You look Polynesian such a cutie! btw, Polynesian men are hot! look up Dayvid Thomas or Hot Samoan men. Nice mix! Btw u should be proud of your Native American blood. Not many people can really say they're Native American thats a beautiful thing!
