Our Salvage Sailboat is now Seaworthy. It's been a long road for Wicked after suffering damage from hurricane Irma and Maria in 2017. We worked for 3 long years rebuilding Wicked and she is one step closer to putting her sails up and being free on the seas.
But we ran into an issue with our motor. There is a strong vibration on deck and we may need to change the engine mounts and align the shaft.
Restoring a Salvaged sailboat has been the hardest and most rewarding task Matty and I have done. Would we do it again???? ABSOLUTLEY! I really think restoring boats have been romanticized especially on RU-vid and not many understand how hard, expensive and time consuming everything can be.
