Ah yes, because panel shows are 100% organic and not edited or anything. This guy is just pretty average. Brits and their antipodean novelties. He's run-of-the-freaking-mill where I'm from.
Dude is a national treasure. I did a couple of open mic comedy gigs with him over the years and he always came across as really humble yet always had the audience in stitches
about 60 seconds ago i recommended dave gorman to someone who'd commented on one of his stand up shows. The australian asylum bit is crazily accurate 😂😂 I kinda get james acaster vibes too bit can't put my finger on why.
What I love about this is - all these established names are looking at him and thinking " Is he for real?" " Does he mean what he says? They dont know what to think 😂😂
I got that same vibe but can't put my finger on why, he's got his own elements though, he can be a lot more crude and sound just as amiable. Them aussies have an amazing ability to make 'cunt' not sound like a swear word. I think it's impossible for it not to sound nasty in an english accent.
That's weird, I always imagined him with more of a proboscis on his forehead that shoots green sap, and always screaming "I'm Michael Hing! I'm Michael Hing!"
I think sigmund freud is well known for a theory that sons are subconsciously attracted and obsessed with their mothers or something like that so I thought it was related to that, could be wrong, hilarious either way
@@CookPassBabtridge1I think you’re both right. I thought the connection to Freud was pretty obvious in that line but never quite got the long tits bit. If that’s a call back to the extended family bit that’s hilarious
this guy is like a young carrot top. great stuff. i watched oppenheimer yesterday and seeing this light hearted fair has really balanced out the dense atmosphere of dread that has enveloped my life post christopher nolans latest masterpeice.
This was good. When I saw when he was going to be on Taskmaster I looked him up. Read he won at the Edinburgh Fringe, so looked up some clips of his standup. Couldn't find a single laugh.
I'm just putting this down for myself: I didn't laugh even once. And I don't understand why. I don't know why I didn't find this funny, even though the jokes were solid. Somehow they failed to catch me off guard.
Holy shit this guy is a breath of fresh air, this is watching a new talent born. You can see how every one of them was just cracking up at this. I really hope they all embraced him into the panel show world. That Paddington clip has me dying!
I'm always disappointed when my friends tell me they have been out clubbing at the weekend and when I ask how many seals they got, they look at me in confusion.
First time I’d heard of Sam Campbell was when one of his specials popped up on my RU-vid recommended in January. I gave it a go and loved it. Watched it multiple times and binge watched his other stuff in February. Went to see his new special live in London in March and belly laughed for a solid hour. So glad he’s popping up on TV now, more people need to see him!
I knew him from Taskmaster but absolutely didn’t expect this! One of the few clips from 8oo10cdc where all the other comedians are genuinely laughing (not the fake “comedian laugh” they always have)!
Thats the thing. Carr knows whose good and whose not. He used to cry with laughter at Sean. And joe kills him regularly. For Sam to come in as a relative unknown and do the same speaks to his level
You know it's funny as fuck when Jimmy's not doing his fake laugh. I don't think I've ever seen him real laugh for as long as he does in this clip. Funnily enough, I saw Jimmy at a comedy club in Cardiff in the 90's, before he made it, and his act was completely clean and very silly, so this stuff probably chimes with him more than people realise.
@@anushka_bananushka DLR is the light rail in London. Cutty Shark for Maritime Greenwich station is on the DLR line. Joke is that’s what Paddington would’ve been named if they found him at that station instead of Paddington.
@@jrb1802uk the word multiple means more than one? So yes, you’ve commented on multiple videos. If you’re curious just use google, or you could just use your common sense and realise that they’ve got a podcast together because of the amount of people who said they work well together and were funny on taskmaster.
