Cameroonians must learn to speak English to reflect the bilingual nature of their 'so-called' bilingual country. It's such a damn shame that a musician of international calibre like Sam Fan Thomas cannot speak English and has to communicate through an interpreter! It's time Cameroonians realised that English is an international language for people with international ambitions.
Cameroonians from Anglophone regions are more bilingual than Cameroonians from French Regions. They see English as a second class language because they consider Anglophone Cameroonians as second class citizens. They only turn to realise later in life that they made a mistake not to take English lessons serious when they are faced with the reality of the outside world. Its a shame.
Because the Anglophone want to boss everybody around since the English language is leading the world today. It's the same way USA and UK are dictating and making decision for the entire world and destroying everything Francophone. Not everybody love the English language just like everybody don't love the French language.
In this modern times, if you cannot speak or write English, you are on the wrong side of the road. IT is an English programme . All softwares are originally made in English and translated into other languages. Tell me how you want to do business or communicate in this world without the basic knowledge of English ? c'mon !
English program or not, mainstream computers and IBM computers have been in existence for ages. The plan that the Anglo-Americans/Saxons had this plan since the Clovis era to dominate the world and over toped everything Gecko-Roman. Take a look all the French speaking countries in Africa how badly they are doing, do you think it's a coincidence? I am from DR Congo and look how they destroy my country with the complicity of mainly the Anglophone countries in Africa and the minerals especially coltan used to make all those electronics are from my country. So I don't care much about English. If any African language can dominate and since all the natural resources that make the west and Asia advanced, why not?
