This is exactly how I felt about this. As someone who is generally dismissive of new artists I brushed off the recommendations for this lad but this tune blew me away. Its the sort of lyric and music combination I genuinely thought was dead.

apologies for for pretty much repeating what everyone elese has said........ it just so happens my daughter is friends with sam fender, she kept going on about me listening to the lad but again as with some others just brushed it off as im stuck with my own old metal bands and rarely listen to anything new.... however this just stopped my in my tracks transfixed to the lyrics. wow this lad has got it bang on !!

OK I have shivers down my spine and in love with every single word of this ANTHEM and that is what it is an ANTHEM, get this track to number 1 and if I am been honest I prefer this than an MV. Every single word hits home, every single word I hear is hitting my heart my head. SAM FENDER without doubt one of the finest song writers of this decade. LOVE THIS SONG ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONG.

Strange how I found him. Never heard of him in the states but heard a 6 second clip of one of his songs and used google song id to find it. Amazing voice he has. The music industry just pumps out computer written songs and artist that all sound the same. Sam Definitely stands out. I hope he goes far with that wonderful voice.
