Lukas Helmhart he didn’t use his legs is all, he’s known for his rotation which he used in this which can be used readily and easily for things like these, I can pump 180km as hard as I can with no legs so I know groth can, remember he has 60km more till his peak, remember that’s for us like 100km to 160km

so, on feb 1, groth was doing a spot on tv with 10 year olds who were routinely hitting over 240k...casts doubt on the adult players ranking since the numbers are so easily altered ...

If only you could win Slams with just serves then Sam would have 30 Slams by now! Unfortunately for Sam and other heavy servers in the game of Tennis you need to be able to win points if your opponent gets your massive serves back! A one trick pony doesn't win Slams...just ask Karlovic, Raonic, Isner et al. The only exception was probably Roddick but at least he had other weapons other than just his serve.

Wouldn't really call Raonic a one-trick-pony; he had a good forehand, excellent volleys and decent application of strategy (he played particularly smart tennis vs Wawrinka when he beat him at the AO). Bad movement and an insane amount of injuries, though.

This kind of thing doesn't do it justice. In the tennis tournaments they count the speed from the racket. Here it's the speed on the board. It clearly looses power after a few milliseconds. So this 190 Are like 230 counted from his racket.

Maybe NOT put a big fat arse screen there for everyone to feel reserved about hitting their hardest? I get it, it's an actual court that's closed up, so they should be aiming lower anyway, but what about the public? Constantly worried about hitting the screen, and potentially having to pay for damages would be such a turn off for the public if they tried this. I don't know, maybe it's just me.
