And I definitely agree that there cannot be any kind of worthwhile relationship without complete honesty and trust. I think you did a great job, too, Andie. I think you handled it as professionally as can be expected. You sincerely acknowledged his genuine talent at writing and singing. I doubt that Sam feels "objectified" by all the swooning. He did say he adores women. But I agree with you that after all the time and hard work he has put in, the acknowledgement and appreciation of his talent and great work are obviously more important to him. It was after I heard "Take Your Time" that I just had to find out who in the world it was with that cool and sexy voice singing those clever and catchy lyrics on "country" radio! Once I found Sam Hunt on RU-vid, I realized I had already heard and liked some of his other music. Now, I like all his music, and a lot of other modern country music. Like Sam I love the good story telling of country music, and the good rhythm of r&b. (and some pop and hip hop - but absolutely no rap for me!) He is VERY TALENTED, and (sorry, but I have to say it) VERY HOT! But most importantly, he seems to be a genuinely "GOOD PERSON" !!! Love him!
Lady J same! i’d always liked Take Your Time, House Party, Break Up In A Small Town and tons of other songs that were made by him. My family used to play the music video for Take Your Time on the TV all the time and I never stopped to look twice but just enjoyed the music. Couple years later I heard Body Like A Back Road and wondered who he was. When I looked him up I was shocked to discover he had been one of my favorite singers all that time and I had no idea who he was. Yeah, he’s extremely talented and I could listen to his music forever. I hate to say it too but he is SO hot... but that’s not why I love him, I love his music and his personality and the overall feeling I get generally talking about him or hearing his music. So so handsome and talented, he has a bright future of fame.
