I'm so thankful I grew up in the country. I hated it when I was younger/teenage yrs b/c so far away from the city & friends but I began to appreciate it much more once I entered the real world of adulthood. I wouldn't trade growing up in the wilds of KY bluegrass back hills & rolling hills for nothing now. Nothing like the peace, privacy, calmness, serenity & freedom of growing up in the country & the pure innocence of childhood & exploration you have with it.
