interview with sam hyde and brandon buckingham about froggy fresh, idubbbz, anisa johma, and creator clash Creator Clash 2 video on Main channel @BrandonBuckingham
You know, remember when idubbzz condescendingly said that sam should create his own boxing event? Sam realistically probably could put on a good quality boxing event.
why is condescending to say that? idubbbz did just that himself, he created his own boxing event. he doesn't want to work with sam hyde because he completely derailed his project the last time he worked with him. why the fuck is it cool to use your audience to bully a dude who doesn't want to work with you into working with you?
Well Idubbz thinks that his boxerfit mittwork coach that showers him with positive comments is gonna make him a successful boxer so his assessments of people are not very accurate
It's because ian johma is projecting his facetious and two faced nature onto others to draw attention for himself, he was punked into thinking dani was sams gf and harboured sideways thoughts about sam the entire time until he was shown to be wrong, idubbz is a human reptile
I never thought it was as near as complicated as idubbz made it out to be. He was clearly just fucking with him. But idubbz has to be the one clowning others and can't imagine a reality where he gets clowned on.
yeah its crazy how big a deal they make about creator clash being about real boxing when in reality it's like every other influencer boxing even where pretty much ever fight is between two people who know nothing about fighting and maybe the title fight and 1 other are actual fights between 2 serious people
Its wild to me that Anisa had CTE damage and had to pull out of participating with the 1st CC and then they pulled that shit with Chris Ray Gun. AND her mom tried to clown on Froggy making fun of head trauma like wtf?????
Hahaha obviously you have never even sparred in your life. Dude, don’t speak of things you have no clue of. These creator clash losers can’t even throw a proper punch.
Idubbbz just wanted to do a "where are they now?" For what he thought was a washed up has been and didn't expect to find a flourishing professional that's better at the prank game than he is
Kinda, he definitely was trying to throw shade at Sam, seeing him as the mascot for message board frequenters that called him words because of his wife's subscription service (very affordable but bad quality btw)
I love how iDubbbz singlehandedly made me a fan of Sam’s. No joke, ever since 2016 I’ve been trying to track down Sam’s content and the drama with Ian lead me to discover all his different platforms. If I had money I’d happily sub to MDE. Shit, I couldn’t say the same about Ian even during his content cop days. If I had to choose between an MDE subscription or seven free creator clash tickets I’d pay for MDE twice. Meanwhile Ian has finally managed to step out of Joji’s shadow. Not for being funny or talented like George, nah, he’s infamous for being a glorified keyboard warrior who can’t defend himself or even make his own decisions. Anisa’s not your mom Ian, stop hiding behind her.
yes indeed I've read a long time ago that they were blown away seeing him live at his peak. Not hard to imagine though, the 60's James brown was pure fire.
Anisa and idubbz said on the H3 podcast that dad pretended to be bad by using his non dominate hand to trick them into thinking Matt was a suitable opponent. That's pretty damn shitty 😅
This was what pissed me off so much about him getting banned in the first place. iDubbbz all of a sudden becomes Mr. Boxer after getting the taste for combat sports when visiting Sam... and all these other people who don't take it as seriously as it needs to be taken. But ban Sam, the one who truly gives a fuck about combat sports. I'd absolutely train with Sam, I feel like he's the type who'd bust the fuck out of you if you started getting a little cocky, but then take you out for beers and shots afterwards. It's so fucking weird to me how much iDubbbz, Ethan Klein and all these other fucks have changed.
The fact that he always makes his own fight the main event every time despite Harley’s fight and Froggy’s fight being way more anticipated and hyped up just goes to show how much ego is behind it all.
@@PinkFloydFreak55 they definitely changed. They got popular from doing edgy comedy and now that they’ve got big audiences they pull the ladder up behind them by disavowing their old comedy/fans and condemning anyone else that’s doing similar types of comedy.
This hit the nail on the head. Boxing and fighting is no joke and the entire concept of Creator Clash is just kind of cringe to me because everyone acts like it's so lighthearted...but it really isn't. Those are real punches with real side effects.
@@nightlyroutine_00 boxing to raise money for Alzheimer’s is the most brain dead thing ever lmao, “give each other brain damage to raise money for brain damage!” Anisa and her wife are both scum and idiots
glad Sam said mentioned how everyone fakes being alright losing. It's humiliating and terrifying. i'm incredibly happy Sam won his fight. makes me think about how Ian feels calling himself "boxer" with several consecutive losses. i can tell he's got some serious brain trauma, going great lengths to avoid Sam and being with Yoko Ono
@@bleu2680 you have an extremely rigid view of language that I don’t agree with. If I only ever lost I wouldn’t not be proudly stating I’m a boxer, especially when that isn’t actually my career, as for Ian he is a producer, of content on RU-vid and of events like creator clash. If someone makes paintings and makes sculptures and they are all extremely primitive and bad, it’s a loaded term to call themselves an “artist” you can fable in art but not be an artist.
@@picklerick1948 mate you're the one with a rigid view - your whole point is why terms like "amateur"and "(semi)professional" exist. You're the one gatekeeping a single word. If someone has trained properly, knows the rules, but never made it big in competitions, what gives you the right to take that label away? What's funny is that the actual point is: "Ian shouldn't be called a boxer because this is a temporary flight of fancy and he's not gonna keep this going for long". This point also disqualifies people who have won a few times from the boxer label unless they continue with it after the event, but that is not the point you made - you're on some result-essentialist power trip
Why wasn't Ian just honest? He should have just told Sam he didn't like him and didnt want him near any of his content because he's trying to distance himself from "edgy" creators. Even if he did do that though that still wouldn't give him permission to treat anyone who talks to Sam/likes him like shit and i know he wouldn't be able to stop himself from doing that.
What has Sam done other than make some edgy humor? Like he’s not allowed to be a friend to other creators because he made some jokes some people don’t agree with? I don’t get it
When he was given a show at adult swim he used it as a chance to inject suspiciously based themes and ideas. Tim and Eric saw this and, because they are gay and know that progressivesm wasn't only possible through that very form of subversion they used the full breadth of their power to have him blackballed from Hollywood. Ever since then he has been off limits to mainstream media
I’ve never really been into Sam’s comedy and content stuff but he’s been winning me over throughout the past year or so, starting with him training Brandon, and this just solidified me being a fan of Sam the man. Really dope to see him sit down and have a real conversation with Brandon here and get his side of the story and perspective on shit. Sam is an OG and Brandon is one cold ass fuckin rider. You a G for this Brandon!
Having a onlyfans Gf is mentally and physically draining, no matter who you are or what you think. Its the rest of the world laughing at you, while simultaneously becoming a key part of your existance.
Love Brandon's interviews and documentaries, love Sam and his perspective, love Froggy and still feel ripped off knowing he went through more of this highschool drama. Idubbbz... come on man.
I love how he called Matt Watson Matt Walsh for anybody who doesn't know he used to be an editor for Markiplier and he's friends with another let's player named oneyplays but him and another guy have their own stuff called super mega and they move to California became flaming liberals so the little homie Matt kind of deserved that beat down from Dad even though dad is pathetic for going that hard on somebody so small and then celebrating the way he did. lol
They definitely seem like they had a lot of potential. They couldve went the Oney route but decoded to go the Game Grumps route. Make super safe inoffensive content. Idk much about Super Mega but im a huge George Clanton fan and Matt has collaborated with him. So definitely sad that they decided to be safe losers instead of making cool unique shit.
@@Dielawn69 I don't know much about them I like oneyplays cuz Chris is a funny Irish boy and Zach is extremely autistic lol They used to be funny and then they went on the west coast and became all liberal it wasn't brilliant humor it was stupid jokes they had their own Brilliance to them but like you said they had to water everything down and try to become family friendly for the whole Twitter liberal side of shit. They had their own style of Comedy but then it became forced cringe and soft as baby shit. lol
Look man I’ll play devils advocate since this whole comment section is just dick riding Sam. Idubbz ran another successful creator clash and never even brings up Sam’s name. Idubbz is the reason Sam’s career got a boost. He just doesn’t fuck with Sam now yet Sam talks about him constantly. That’s just reality lol, and I like both Sam and idubbbz
Probably the most serious interview with Sam (at least until the last part). Still, his fishtank project simply isn't funny. Thus far all I've seen is a bunch of impressionable, autistic contestants get mocked and exploited.
Sam thinks he is so much funnier than he actually is. It just comes across bitter and miserable - the older he gets the more he sounds like an old man yelling at clouds. I wish he would realise this and actually stop trying so hard, he used to be cool.
I really wanna know why Anisa was so obsessed with the idea of Sam headbutting somebody. If you've paid attention to the stuff she's said on the matter it really seems like he reminds her of an ex or something
Ohhh, that's pretty deep. You might be onto something there or at least in the same ballpark. But yeah she's pretty weird lol her own family has even come out and said she has a lot of problems edit: I try not to analyze her too much though because you can't make sense of something that makes no sense.
You know its pretty sad how much everyone orbiting sam hyde is addicted to perpetuating this drama. There was a time where sam, buckingham, froggy and others actually focused on alternative comedy. Now you're all in the shit pit with the rest of the drama channels. Everyone looks stupidly obbsessed, move on already.
This is ultimately the best take. Brandon especially seems latched on to perpetuating the drama. Under the guise of investagative journalism. Your videos are more enjoyable when you're downing a bag of wine on a boardwalk. Or exploring an abandoned haunted hotel in Bangkok. Do you really want to be known as an iteration of Keemstar?
@@jratsmash8627 Yeah, tbh Sam is a write-off. Now that he's streaming, you can see his hatred isn't ironic or for comedy. The dude can only impress people a decde younger than himself, and he shits on people who he also keeps around to adore him. Jet is a massive wigger, Brandon is pretty effeminate, some of his crew are out of shape. He has these people around yet obbsesses and rants about these social characteristcs that he despises.
I used to like some of sam hyde's content mainly because it felt unique, edgy but like it wasn't tied to ongoing trends, and it's honestly pathetic to see such a big and creative dude involved in petty internet drama, it honestly puts him next to the likes of leafy and keemstar, the dude would be in such a better place if only he removed himself from this bullshit
I usually agree with Sam, but I disagree with his statement about Matt Watson. Theres no shame in losing or being flamboyant. His career hasn’t changed as he’s hardly a masculine guy, and he did exactly as well as you’d expect. Completely agree with the stuff about Dad tho, that wasn’t friendly.
Agree, the Matt Watson comment was strange af. Matt unintentionally losing the fight in 10 seconds is hilariously on par with his own brand of humor. It was never a big deal, so he completely lost me with that take.
I called out Dad to fight at Big Six and he straight up said "no you're better than me you'll beat me up" which is exactly what I expected. I'm just not a good enough "friend" I guess
I love that Sam gets how serious fighting needs to be. Sounds like he takes great care of the guys he works with. Idubbz pulling Froggy for associating with Sam is the lamest shit. Influencer boxing can't be taken seriously with this kind of teenage highschool girl mentality. I'm trying to be open minded to RU-vidrs fighting and shit like that makes it hard.
Watching clowns beat on each other like retards is funny, but real boxing between amazing and skillful fighters is so much more fulfilling as entertainment. Influencer boxing should never be taken seriously.
Ive been following Sam for a bit now. Ever since MDE got canned. Hes never been more popular in my opinion. If Ian just ignored him he wouldn't be this big. Kinda funny, its probably the last thing Ian wanted, killing his reputation while making Sam wildly popular.
If I were fighting, I’d want no other person to train me than Samuhil Hydechenko. I can confidently say that knowing I will never be in that situation.
fighting someone in a combat sport 6 inches taller and 6lbs heavier is just setting up the smaller guy to fail. that is probably the worst thing to happen in this whole shitshow.
i honestly feel like maybe idubbbz' documentary on sam really was a lot about really trying to understand sam, and not actually so much just about 'punking' him. obviously idubbbz was going to try and make himself seem high and mighty, 'the intellectual trying to understand the lowly edgelord,' as if no one would see the obvious irony, but. i think idubbbz really felt slighted, was clearly very intimidated during the one on one, and probably got the feeling sam was going to be pretty vicious in presenting how he'd played idubbbz like a fool, because.... i mean that would be pretty on brand. but. all that said i'm not defending any of idubbbz' actions after the fact, and to be honest i've come to sort of despise 'mr johma,' but i really don't think his initial intentions were probably so bad. he probably thought (again, 'high and mighty') he might come out of it looking like some kind of savior or something, 'i repented for my ways and even went on to redeem a great sinner,' or something. but i don't think he was just all out to make sam look bad or something.
Probably the most unbiased, level-headed take on the whole situation. I'm so tired of seeing autistic sam hyde stans take such a black and white point of view on this situation. Saying shit like "oh he really just wanted to do a hit piece to revive his career". Like bruh, idubbbz's documentaries have always been to try and understand the person he's making the documentary about. But of course sam hyde fans have daddy issues and look up to him as a father so they all take his side no matter what lol. Obv not all sam hyde fans are like that, but God the ones that are, are so fucking obnoxious. Also I'm not an idubbbz Stan either, I just know that everything is not so black and white. Idubbbz fucked up in the end, but I don't think he was trying to be some conniving evil genius plotting to ruin sam hydes career just to boost his own😂 he's made content cop's that could be considered career ending, but it was always about people who objectively deserved it, and not someone who's as elusive and vague as sam. Which is why he wanted to make a doc on him to figure him out more.... but hey I might be wrong and idubbbz might be a conniving fuck head. I just don't think it's likely at all.
Just a small tidbit.. Matt Watson didn't start making music and acting gay after the boxing event. Supermega has always been like that, and Matt has made music stuff on RU-vid since he was a little cringe kid. Ryan and Matt make jokes that they're gay all the time, it's apart of their character. The boxing event wasn't Matt's turning point.
They're not professional boxers. It was for charity. It was fun. No one who won or lost is as upset as you are, Sam. I think Sam has been hit a few too many times in the head.
i love sam so much, rlly seems lik one the most genuine ppl nd has so many good insightful nd intelligent things to say aside from just his jokes. Boiling him down to just "edgy and offensive comedy" is such an insult, the positive the publicity this all has brought him is so far beyond deserved ❤
I really do agree, before they went too crazy with synth and composition. These little musical vignettes of ambiance are simple but genius. I've been obsessed with this album more than the 3 rd reich or eskimo which re often considered the "best" ones...
I'm not an Ian and Anisa simp but it definitely seems like everyone was having fun there & it was for a good cause so all the fighters left feeling proud that they did something good & had thousands of people cheering them on. Sam made some good points but I don't agree with everything he said. Also %80 of the fighters weren't doing collabs & shit ,making content about how much fun they were having ect. Most didn't post at all about their training or the event outside of a few Instagram posts showing off a little bit of their training. I'd actually say Brandon made more pre fight content before his fight than all of the Creator Clash contestants did this year.
the point he was trying to make is that this is a sport where people beat the shit out of eachother, it needs to be taken seriously or people get hurt badly
FUCK loved the end of that because I needed to hear it i'm about to be 30 and i spend every waking moment at my desk i'm gonna throw on some headphones and go walk also, I've said "Heaven's to Betsy" like a dozen times since this was uploaded earlier.
@@popotade4621 it's not like the walk was fantastic or anything and my headphones were dead but i did it. lets uh... lets get fit and take care of ourselves boys.
He's definitely wrong about the Matt Wattson fight. It's not gonna effect his career at all, and he was already kissing dudes and such before it lmao. Him getting his face pummeled in is like a funny bit. SuperMega fans don't care if he's a ultra uber macho man, he's not their Andrew Tate.
It’s funny how Sam saying “don’t be fat” is much more motivational than anything Succubus Johma or Ian Punching Bag said at the end of CC2. Now I’ll workout cuz “movement is medicine”.
Tf? Random ass Matt Watson/Supermega hate? Sam acts like he hasn't been 1000x more clownish and edgy than kissing a dude. Just comes off like he's mad they have a better, more stable career than him.
Sam is completely right about people spending way too much time inside on the internet. Exercise and even just hanging out with people offline is great for self esteem and mental health
Sam giving iDubbz way too much credit at the beginning. The only reason the attempted smear piece boosted sam’s popularity is because of how masterfully same played it
I watch SuperMega, so I’ll give Sam Hyde the benefit of the doubt, cause probably doesn’t know Matts content too much. But Matt has been a singer/rapper for years, and has always has done edgy humour for years, him losing a boxing fight, didn’t make a difference on what, he was going to do singing the national anthem. Also Dad was Ripped, dude was in great shape, majority of fans of Matt knew he was gonna lose. Also Matt was always known as a scrawny kid, who’s wimpy, doesn’t change anything that he got his ass kicked
yeah same when he said it ruined matt watson's life all im thinkin is there is no way he actually cares that he lost just knowing how he composes himself through their videos
I love how Sam is angry about creator clash and yet proceeds to talk about it for hours (you can see he watched and rewatched it in some manic episode 😂)
That yodeling girl did pretty well last time too considering she was at a size disadvantage. Didnt she say something about krispy kreme after she won? Was dat a subtle froggy fresh shoutout.
@@handsomelyditto4215 from selling bullshit to 13 year old kids who find edgy comedy funny. I refuse to believe a grown man finds any value in his half baked economics or comedic timing from Sam to be funny. Dude grew up rich and likes to talk about why poor people are struggling, man has no idea.
I really feel like sam was all good and fine until ian brought up the kickstarter crap thing that is when i noticed his entire attitude change and since that all hes done is ian killed his first born. Some people really do need to get over themselves. 😅
Absolutely no push back or questioning. You might want to improve by pushing back on claims without any backing. That is what a good journalist/interviewer would do, unless... There's a narrative you wanna push perhaps?
