Pendulum club in Manchester. Seems a world away now. Fabulous record. Mod, then younger brother (skinhead), then boot boy, then Northern Soul. That was the progression. As Dave Godiin said 'music genres come and go but soul goes on forever'. It seems so.
Amazing record. Live every day, time goes quickly. Pendulum club in Manchester. Can't remember the year, but the lads playing the records were very in front, dare I say way in front of the Twisted Wheel? As was the Catacombs in Wolverhampton. A long way from London and Skipton in North Yorkshire, but well worth the hike. As Sam and Kitty take me back to the Pendulum Leon Haywood Baby Reconsider (Docker and John Jennings) where are now you now? (Gloucestershire?) takes me e back to Wolverhampton. John Bollen Catacombs
Great torch memory. Did Soussan do a sh**e instrumental of this that was played at Wigan with others.... the start of crap stuff there...on a bazouki or comb with brown paper over it lol Great post
