I tipped hawks to win 10 matches pre season, admittedly wasn't looking good after 5 rounds, but back on track now. I'm not expecting to play finals this year, will be a bonus if it happens, but I honestly feel the next-generation of success for hawthorn is being birthed in front of our eyes, the worst is over and hawthorn can be flag contenders from 2026 onwards.

Best part would’ve been “is that Nick in the centre bounce” Dylan moore giving that responsibility to Watson shows how much the players have bonded and how much trust they’ve got between each other !! Fucking love it

After those awful performances even considering the youth earlier in the year I can actually see the development in this team, well done to all involved, we’ve set the bar now. I think the key is to play with passion and desire, add in the joy and obvious close relationship of all players within the team, it’s looking positive for the future. Today’s game was like the Hawks of the 80’s almost like a determination not to give the opponent a sniff at any stage throughout the game.

Week to week....more and more chances ro play together and learn. This team will lift Premiership trophies. Many Premiership trophies! Im predicting three to four in the next decade. Old fellas will leave like Breust and Gunston but the team has so many options and our Box Hill squad is doing so well. This Hawthorn squad will be very successful. I've no doubt. CARN THE MIGHTY HAWKS!!!
