The day the war began was the day they banned bags. Jackboot thugs went door to door seizing bags spilling their contents all over. The insurance companies wouldnt cover anyone who had bags or made a mess because they had no bags. The supermarket entrances were littered with dropped goods glass smells of all description liquids or every consistency. The online shopping worked for a while till they had too many orders and couldnt get anyones orders right, as it so happen the only thing keeping their paid for orders separate was the thin plastic bags. Shortly, hunger and malnutrition set in. The young were the first to suffer. Rotten school bags. Scattered lunches. Rotten bread. Rotten fruit. Then the animals when it was to expensive to let your animal poo outside your property. Then the recycling companies went bust trying to sort all the recyclable products that were now completely mixed. The other countries stopped allowing exports from NZ due to health and safety standards. Normal people of the world used plastic as a barrier for germs and waste to not contaminate food and medicines. Mz stopped doing this. The retroactive idea was ban imports to preveny more plastic coming in. Thats when all the foreign owned businesses left and the 28% percent unemployment hit and was stopped from being recorded. Since then its assumed to be upto 70% of the populace. The schools closed last week as there were too many sick starving kids so all their parents are now at home also. About 7 weeks ago the last recorded rates payment was made and the councils and tax revenue departments shut indefinitely. Sounded good till all government services were suspended. The water went before the light which was a surprise. Suppose the guys running the stations were also getting theri power from them. Since winter hadnt quite ended a mass hunt for fire wood ensued. People tearing down neighbors fences and throwing furniture into fires. The fire brigade was ling gone so a few conflagrations tore through urban areas. They ripped most of the fireplaces out 10 years ago. So these guys were trying have camp fires in there sitting rooms. The child mortality rate is at 96% which may be good because if we make it through this war with the invading Indonesians we wont have time to educate them. Lucky for us all the rich left early or they could have taken over. As soon as they banned freespeech and the police were sacked the elites ran for their lives. All their demands for the end of plastic bags had killed million by that time. They just moved to hollywood and continued their careers. Never to be seen again.
