Everything is of its time. The Footy Show relied totally on Sam but unfortunately, as time went by, he seemed less enamoured with the game & wasn't keeping up to date with how it was evolving. But the death blow was Lyon cutting Billy's grass, it seemed to lose steam after that.

I don't think anybody was off limits on the footy show. He made fun of himself as much as anyone in the name of comedy. All the people on street talk watched the show regularly.
