First things first: this is not a ship vid. I promise that. I'm sure you guys know by now that I love exploring Sam's trauma, and since that comes from both the cosmic entity that is Lucifer as well as the vessel that sustained him, Nick, I focused on both of them. Honestly, I don't see a difference between the two of them anymore, and feel Nick was just as awful as Lucifer. Seeing Sam try and connect with Nick despite the fact that he wore the face of Sam's abuser, then get back stabbed like he did - I feel so bad for him.
Bless Jack for killing his ass. I wish it were Sam, but Jack was good, too.
So, yeah, this vid focuses on Sam's connection to both Lucifer and Nick, and how terrible that connection is.

Yeah, I didn't see much difference between Nick and Lucifer because Nick was Lucifer's vessel for so long that he soaked with him and his evilness. It is clear to me that Sam tried to help Nick because Sam has a good heart. Btw. way I love how Jared portreited Lucifer post-trauma even if this wasn't written in the script.

Great job portraying Sam's complicated dynamic with Nick and Lucifer. Poor Sam -- it had to be awful for him to find out that Lucifer was awake in the Empty. And Sam wanted to do right thing in the beginning of the season with Nick -- and then Nick threw it back in his face with his attempt to bring back Sam's tormentor. I love the song choice too -- it worked well with the subject matter. I like the dark undertone of the video that the song highlighted. Thanks for making this video!

I think you did a wonderful job with showing the relationship between Sam and Nick/Lucifer. I felt so bad for Sam when he tried to help Nick out and it turned around on him but it was Sam being compassionate. Anyways, this was really well done.

This is amazing. I am so in love with that song and for some reasons my twisted mind LOVES the Sam/Lucifer&Nick story. You just show case how complex and trouble it is in such a beautiful way.

I don't like S14 overall, but the Sam-Nick part was interesting, sadly that wasn't the main thing of the season. And is also sad how Jared wanted to properly adress Sam's trauma with Lucifer and the writers didn't let him...

Oh my GOODNESS this is amazing!!! It's so very chilling, and you really did a wonderful job of capturing just how messed-up the dynamic is between Nick and Sam, with all those Lucifer undertones. (To say nothing of just how completely messed-up the dynamic is between Sam and Lucifer.) And this song and the tone of it really fit well with the themes you were bringing across. Okay I like this version of the song, but you will never beat Alanis Morissette's original. The emotion, the uncertainty she portrayed in just her voice alone! Not to mention the strain she could put on a note that just gave you shivers ❤
