Even if Raimi never made another movie after the first Evil Dead, he'd be a legend simply for introducing Bruce Campbell to the world.

I visited the South as a kid probably around the time Bruce and Sam made this film. Bruce isnt kidding when he talks about The South back then.

i love his comment about entertaining people, i make shitty dance music for fun but yeah if the song fails to get your head nodding it doesn't have much else going for it lol

Thanks for the throwback, mate. As far as audiocommentaries go, this one plus Evil Dead II are among my top favorites. Just one note, would it be possible to leave like two seconds of silence between the time jumps? Otherwise it can be a bit confusing, not knowing if someone followed up or it's a new topic already.

So cool to hear about Bruce watching Evil Dead for the first time in a theater in Pontiac, I grew up around that area and would be curious what theater it was.

I was about 4 years old when i first saw Evil Dead. Snuck out of bed and posted up behind the couch while the babysitter was watching it. I had nightmares for weeks afterward. Ever since, it's been my favorite horror movie.

That’s a first film when it all back in 81 or 82 because the behind of the scenes one of the actors are hurt due for their acting injuries
