Footage from: Charlie's Angels Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (movie and screen test) Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Moon Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Lawn Dogs Iron Man 2 Matchstick Men
Pretty sure Matchstick Men was the first I saw him in, and even against those two fantastic performances, Cage & Lohman? He still stood out in my mind. That's true talent, goddamn.
@ Leon: A few years ago Jimmy Fallon had Rockwell and Walken on the same night 'cuz they were promoting separate work at the same time. It was actually suggested by Questlove, 'cuz he's a big fan of both of the actors, that they should have the two dance. At first it was gonna just be the two of them dancing together for a few seconds by the chairs near the interview area. But Questlove and The Roots band started playing something by The Meters, and the two moved it over to the main floor spontaneously. It turned into a call and answer kind of thing between Rockwell and Walken with The Roots playing a Meters medley for about 15 minutes. Because NBC doesn't have the rights (nor permission) to the music of The Meters, it was never broadcast, and it's under serious lockdown. My wife's cousin works for the network and was able to snatch the copy of the recording long enough for us to dupe it, and then put the original back. It's off the hook, man. I wish i could share it with you. Perfect world, man...
I got idea.. Mr Rockwell and Mr Walken play a father and son dancing duo there found out that Rockwell has son .. “ Spider-Man himself “ and his also is a great dancer so they try to get him in theirs act but things doesn’t work out in different ways and so on ..
He's so freakin' adorable. I love the scenes where he's doing test screenings and they just ask him to put on different outfits and dance his little heart out.
Then you may be interested to know that Sam Rockwell will playing Bob Fosse in an upcoming TV mini-series about his partnership with Gwen Verdon. That's right. Sam Rockwell will be playing Bob Fosse in an FX TV mini-series. Oh, and Michelle Williams will be playing Verdon. Yup. Michelle Williams. And, uh, oh yeah. It's produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator/writer of broadway's Hamilton. And nope... You aren't dreaming, and you haven't misread anything. And yeah... The only appropriate reaction to this information is to scream out loud HOLY FUCKIN' SHIT, THERE IS A GOD! And, then, of course, do a little Rockwell style jig. Hoping for the best...
And to think this guy could've been Iron Man. Don't get me wrong, I love Downey, but just imagine what kind of approach Rockwell would've bought to the Tony Stark character.
I read an interview with Sam that his ritual for a scene is to dance before he does his scene. He says it relaxes him. He's such an amazing actor that if that works for he can dance anytime for me if it helps him.
What?! That was him?! Wow...I'm so glad I didn't realize that before I feel in love with his other characters. I would have had a hard time watching him too. He's such a great actor...and dancer.
COOL. NOW I am waiting for a dance trio of Sam, Christopher, and Tom...... those of us who like dance know THESE three dancing together would be a joy.👍👍👍👍
Sam Rockwell cracks me up. Such a confident mover, along with that crazy smirk on his face. Very entertaining. But he is no fool. Keep on grooving, and making us laugh, and smile, Mr Rockwell.👍🏿👍🏾👍🏽👍🏼🤗
This is incredibly entertaining. Apparently, this man Sam loves dancing so much, he will do so every second he can spare, such as between scenes and takes within scenes. I can watching him without ever thinking of the lapses of time.
I am amazed by this actor. Not just for his acting and for his dancing. But because he can wear pretty much any type of clothing and make it look good! Looking forward to his role as George W! :D
Sam Rockwell…legend incredible character actor and the only man I would ever want to dance with and a talent which seems to go unnoticed…um! Kinda 🇬🇧🤗🤩🕺
I have really loved this fan video over the years. It is perfect....and to the tune of James Brown...really enjoying it this morning before heading off to work. Grateful to whoever made it.
I was so pissed. When this was playing I said to myself "They better include the Justin Hammer dance from Iron Man 2!" Then it suddenly comes on--BUT ONLY FOR HALF A SECOND??? MAAANNN, BULLSHIT!
Charlie's Angels Confessions of a Dangerous Mind Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Matchstick Men Moon Iron man 3 I don't know where the clip of him dancing on the roof of a car with a blonde girl is is from.
Sam Rockwell....Rocks very WELL!...I loved the hilarious incidents in The green mile and the comments said a very underrated actor,....I Am Sure He Paid The Piper. ( paid his dues)
