The fact is that 99% of textual variants are non-consequential (grammatical or manner s of speech). The 1% of the other textual variants change a meaning on a minor issue. For example, a verse in one version may say that you need to pray for the expelling of demons and the other says that prayer and fasting are required. The passage is talking about Paul being the one to bring the gospel to the gentiles just like Peter brought the gospel to the circumcised... that's why most translations say "to" or "for" rather than "of". But "of" is still acceptable.

This is a difference between the critical text and traditional text, they are very different. The critical text is corrupt, which is where the fight between the KJV TR vs Critical Text battle has been going on for years. They cannot both be true at the same time.
