Okay, so admittedly, the right Folgers commercial can bring a tear to my eye [I can't help it, I'm a stereotypical gay guy, lol]... that said, I don't see how this dedication / refreshing cover could 'not' bring a tear to anyone's eyes. I always knew Pia was a top-notch singer the 1st time I heard her sing 'I'll Stand By You' on American Idol. But if even possible, she has only blossomed even more into the kind of artist that has been missing since Whitney and Mariah [in their prime]. Seriously, her voice does justice to the cover of a song that was 'made' for a female voice. No disrespect intended regarding the extremely-talented Sam Smith, but it's the truth as I see it. Now when are we gonna get a Pia Toscano album...?? ;)
