The first time I heard Sam Smith on the radio, I thought it was so autotuned it wasn't funny. I saw the music videos and still, I thought it was not natural. I saw all the videos of him singing live and then realized, heck yah he is real. I love his voice. Such powerful, jazz-type, and soulful vocals. Amazing.

Actually, when they recorded the song Sam sang the words "Stay with me" in a bunch if different notes, on the recorded version there is no choir, im not sure how it sounds like that live.

+Zyan Hooks What he meant is that in the original Stay With Me song (Album Version) there is no choir. Sam sang the "choir" verse "Stay With me" 20 different times in different parts of the room and layered his voice more and more to make it sound like a choir full of different people singing it. As far as it sounding very similar live, it just happens that his backup singers are that damn good, and do a great job making it all sound just as good (if not better) as the original version. :)
