If you're easily amused, try watching this with the automatic English subtitles on. It's amazing how many English words a computer can try to pick out of Welsh!
I suppose they might have quite a bit in common with them compared to most other European languages, as they all avoided much influence from Latin or West Germanic languages.
@@nathangamble125 Cymraeg ( Welsh) is derived from Brythonic which was influenced by Latin during the Roman occupation of Britain. About 500 words in Welsh are derived from Latin. Like "Pont" for bridge: "Ffenestr" for Window: "Llyfr" for book; "Eglwys" for church; "Twysog" from Tyrannus for Ruler./Prince.
ThePeriZone it sounds a bit like German because of the kh-sound and the hard r-sound reminds to the Franconian dialect but that's it. Greetings from Germany. 😀
