That C4 explosion was super slow and why the hell would he save that baby he hates the baby he i think the baby telaported away from that slow as explosion
@@rokmutul8445Edit: Stop replying while referring to the baby teleporting 😭😭 This isn’t relevant, the dumbest take part was referring to a slow c4 explosion. Homelander gets scaling from ground hawk who can react to the Nubians lightning making Homelander massively hypersonic, which is greater than this Mach 50 feat. Either way, Homelander takes combat speed. What? A c4 explodes at Mach 23 lmao. How tf could the baby even teleport? This has to be one of the dumbest takes I’ve seen in a while.
@@rokmutul8445 It takes time for the explosion to actually start, Homelander only reacted and started moving after it started. If you look at the scene. Butcher was covered in light during the time it took for the explosion to actually set off, by the time the light had reached Butcher the explosion was already going at its full speed. So no, the explosion was not slow it just look a second to set off, since Butcher was still standing and no indication of Homelander moving was shown, Homelander must have reacted after the explosion denotated meaning he is mach 50.
Homelander as seen in his fight with Maeve is actually pretty good with hand to hand combat while Sam hasn't been trained at all. So Homelander get Battle IQ, Combat and everything and wins no diff.
Yes, people really underestimate the IQ and combat of homelander, although really homelander has already proven to be too good in combat and have a very high IQ, there's a reason why he's super stronger isn't he?
Homelander literally beat both Butcher and Soldier boy who were on close terms of strength to him, Hughie distracted him which allowed the three to get the jump on him
@@pouritchingpowderonpeople In a 1 on 1 head to head fight homelander more durable had more endurance and laser from eyes with fly ability soldier boy have more battle exp and combat skill and he also got that beam thing that make up for laser eyes ( without him he's high diff best but with him he's ext diff but still lost in 1 on 1 )
MINOR SPOILER WARNING FOR LAST EPISODE OF THE BOYS SEASON 4: At the very end of the last episode, him and Cate's blank expressions were so cool when they were grabbing Kimiko and Frenchie. The way Kimiko punches him straight in the jaw, and you can hear the force of the impact yet he barely flinches was so sick. Especially with the Nirvana song in the background.
@Capyourecapping yea and when you look at the fact they were stealing power of Sam to make golden boy stronger Sam’s arguably at heads or tops homelander
@@tomsmitenieks1744 Not true at fucking all. Homelander was stated to be FAR more powerful than the average superhero. Your scaling is way off. Sam is a cockroach to Homelander
@@tomsmitenieks1744 Read my full comment before responding: I’ve seen somebody scale his speeds to Mach 52, based on how convos with Butcher Homelander went and seemingly teleported, speed shown in the animated show, and speed based off how A-train moves in relation to Homelander. This scaling also works with how others scale in strength and durability next to Homelander. A-Train was able to haul an entire train on his shoulders. Black Noir was able to remain completely unfazed and undamaged by a massive explosion that destroyed a building in the process. Kimiko, (somebody who is weaker physically than Noir based off feats), was able to easily disembowel humans with her punches. I advise you to watch Game Theory’s video on how strong Homelander is to be able to punch through somebody. Kimiko and Noir can do that just as easily as Homelander. People like Soldier Boy, (who scales a slight bit higher than Maeve and lower than Homelander in terms of strength), easily overpowered and ragdolled Kimiko like nothing. Homelander was able to completely disembowel Noir (the guy that I mentioned earlier that shrugged off a building level explosion). This puts Homeanders strength at building level. Let’s compare this with Superman. His punches viberate the entire area when attacking Steppenwolf. These viberations don’t damage the surrounding area unlike how powerful Homelanders punches should be in relation to how he killed Noir. Steppenwolf wasn’t known to be that durable either. We saw him get staggered by an arrow used by one of the Amazons. Based off striking strength scaling, Homelander has piercing strength equal to Superman’s collateral damage strikes. The difference here is the budget and the so called “realism” that The Boys TV show is trying to implement. This is why Homelander couldn’t lift the plane or why he seems to only be able to dent cabinets despite the scaling being there for him. Most of this also could be chalked up to plot armor/convenience and because the power scaling of characters seems to be all over the place, when it isn’t as jumbled as people say it is, at least when it comes to how strong the weaker characters are.
@@tomsmitenieks1744 Sam is an extremely strong Supe. Possibly Building level. Homelander scales so much higher than that when looking through his feats.
Ya combat speed going to Sam is crazy lol homelander has blitzspeed ability it was shown in the canon episode of diabolical, he just doesn’t use it because he’s lazy or honestly show budget purposes
Sam is probably around meave level , no way he is taking homelander , but in the future he might get stronger , tho not sure even if that would be enough to get closer .
@@jessegates8487 yes but idk , Homeländer can basically be a superman of sorts with his strength and durability , Sam is like an superboy , but like i said maybe he can grow in the future ( if survive the next seasons) , with a good training he can become lethal, same with Ryan.
from the leaksss homelander gets cate and sam recruited into the seven = Sam isn’t nowhere good as homelander but kimiko with regeneration and sam with high durability/fast homelander orders all supes to attack his enemies(Deep vs Starlight&ATrain)(noir vs butcher(butcher vs love sausage)(Sam vs Kimiko)(firecrackervshughie) sage tells cate to go after frenchie
@@FearFxl I was wondering what Sam and cate will do in season 4 do the leaks say anything about cate having a metal arm ? Also I thought it would have been firecracker to be the one to fight starlight
@@Trippyrockstarr well not specifically about cates arm. (We saw some supes can regenerate so maybe it’s the same case for all supes slowly?) n they might have a fight scene
Alright wait. Maybe someone can clear this up for me. Everyone in the school was so sure that Golden Boy could overpower Homelander. Later, we see the only reason why Golden Boy was so strong was because of the blood transfusions with his brother Sam. If just Golden Boy was seen as a stronger superhero than Homelander, wouldn't the source of that power (in this case Sam) be seen as an even more dangerous superhero to Homelander? I'm not saying or implying Sam could absolutely stomp Homelander. Definitely can't at his stage. I see him more as Black Noir kind of level. He obviously needs proper training, but I feel like he could be at Black Noir's level.
it was stated that golden boy would be as big as Homelander, not "stronger" than him And that was said by brinkerhoff, Luke was just the strongest Godolkin student (not impressive at all) also Feats>Statements Homelander still have better statements that puts him above whole Gen V crew (btw black noir also negs gen v)
No he dosent. Black noir lacks the abilties, and raw power to "neg gen v". He would neg most of gen v, but most of them would anhilate black noir. @@6exta
Well no, not exactly. First, Vought doesn’t care about the actual strengths of superheroes for the most part. They arent power scalers. They care about their popularity and profitability. Second, the person who pushed that the most was Brink, who was an employee of Vought. He wasn’t being genuine in those remarks, he just wanted to push him into The Seven and groom him to be a profitable asset for the company. On a 1 v 1, Homelander dominated other supes, he is on another level. Soldier Boy and Maeve both lose on a 1 v 1, Black Noir was killed by Homelander, A Train and the Deep are deeply scared of Homelander, and these are experienced supes. Sam would get obliterated by Homelander (tasers and the high pitch noise are enough to neutralize Sam, while it’s not even an inconvenience for Homelander). The fact that they were able to shove things inside his spine means he’s no where near Homelander durability, which is essentially has unbreakable skin (Maeve needed to shove a pick through his ears to damage him and even then he shrugged it off). Only person in the show with the potential to surpass Homelander is Ryan.
The entire premise of his son ryan is that hes the only one who can kill him with proper training. I doubt sam would survive 30 seconds if homelander wants to kill him on 1v1
Finally someone who actually pays attention to the show lmao. Ryan was literally referred to as Vought’s contingency plan against Homelander, do people really think that Vought wouldn’t have watched Golden Boy and Sam 24/7 if they honestly believed they were more powerful?
Sam is way stronger, Noir isnt even bulletproof (his hand got a hole in it after Hughie shot it point blank) and Sam literally got gunned down point blank by a squad and didnt get a single wound. Hes also way stronger physically being able to leap around like the Hulk
@@chillingtonchill a explosion> every one of sam's feats also noir is way more skilled can react to HL attacks as he dodged them he has more durability more speed more skill more biq noir would cook sam in a few hits. as noir survived a small building explosion sam's ap isnt even near that.
Homelander outskilled soldier boy and Maeve, he was clearly holding back during those fights. He could have easily speed blitzed them as he could move, react and pick things up while moving at Mach 50. Due to the fact that the faster something goes, the more energy it strikes with, Homelander was only using a small fraction of his power during those fights and still winning. Homelander literally takes every point and wins neg difficulty if Homelander isn’t holding back.
@@solartraveller He was getting equal hits while greatly holding back. Remember that Homelander dodged a c4 point blank, Homelander was greatly holding back during that fight. Homelander was going against Butcher and Soldier boy with pure skill, same thing with Maeve. Homelander is not as skilled as them but the gap is still kind of close.
Although you are correct, Boys are HORRIBLE when it comes to power-scaling super speed and super agility. Assume Maeve and Soldier Boy are of equal caliber in terms of combat speed, or else, as you said, Homelander should just blitz them
@@kingol4801 The fights were going on in real time, non compound V enhanced individuals were actively able to observe the fights. Homelander holding back out of respect for Soldier Boy and Butcher is in character for him. He respects Butcher and Soldier Boy due to the fact that they are not scared of him, blitzing them would take all of the enjoyment out of the situation.
@@sampletext8076 I want to agree with you, but the real answer is more obvious - consumer accessibility and budget. Herogasm episode costed them already too much. Doing Fox-like slow motion sequences would make it just unfeasible financially.
They experimented on Sam by shoving things into his spine. This alone shows he has no where near the durability of Homelander. Sam has the potential of Maeve I think, which straight up loses in a 1 v 1 against Homelander. The person who has the potential to surpass Homelander is Ryan and that’s it.
@@Goldfish1060 I agree with ryan being able to surpass homelander, but it looks more like ryan is going to possibly be another homelander given some of their similarities in power tripping. Ryan may die as a narrative purpose but you are completely valid.
@@MrDTH-zs7fd I think so as well. From the looks of it, it may be that Butcher kills Ryan as he descents further into his extremism. Or perhaps Ryan is the one who stops Butcher from going past the point of no return, with the help of Hughie. Ryan keeps flipping back and forth between good and evil. Can’t wait for season 5.
@@oxiclean8536 because Homelander has every stat Sam has plus like 20, He was able to bully Soldier Boy which is the second strongest supe in the verse and pumble Queen Maeve without trying to kill her, Queen Maeve has the same powers as Sam but she has better combat abilities and experience so if Homelander took the fight seriously he would beat Sam in like 2 punches or less. Sam was also trapped under Gadulkin University in a prison lab and he wasn't able to escape, while kid Homelander that was a little younger than Sam was kept in a similar prison lab except deeper underground and more secure and he was stated to have been able to get out whenever he wanted and that he just chose not too. The only advantage Sam has is his ability to not feel pain
The biggest thing Sam could even remotely do is be used to amp homelander, so far he’s shown as being essentially the only supe that can give blood to amp others. I assume that because of the medium of it being fully integrated with the blood and not straight compound V, it gives the permanent Amp to the recipient, and the V in Sam’s system is regenerated by the next session, and without the side effects of taking straight V.
@TakumiHamaguchiNeumann is much stronger than Marie and if she could of popped Homelander’s head she would of done it by now, but she knows Homelander is way too durable for that to work, Soldier boy resisted Mindfrayer’s mind powers through sheer strength and Homelander is more powerful, and Sam can barely subdue Andre, the fuck is he doing again Homelander????
@@Alexcory404 no they clarify. that if Luke wasn't going through his schizophrenic rants and having mentality issues, he'd be homelander level. and that same Luke then gets massively stronger, and is able to overcome his own schizophrenic nerf to be that level, and then Sam is still stronger than that luke.
I have a feeling that sam could be integral into defeating homelander, he is one of the few supes that have been able to outpower several other supes at the same time with little to no effort, his strength and durability is comparable to homelander but its unsure to where he will stand, with how he is mentally he will have a long road to get to the mindset where he realises homelander is the bad guy, but would be a cool fight to see
If Sam, A-Train, Kimiko and Starlight teamed up they’d take Homelander out for sure. Sam is really strong and could probably hold his own against Homelander for a few minutes. A-Train can easily dodge Homelander’s lasers, and could get sam out of danger. Starlight could blind Homelander, making it harder for him to fight well. Kimiko would act as support, and she would never die.

It is actually closer than you think. Sam is physically on level with Queen Maeve, and she was able to hold her ground against Homelander. Not for long, but she could
@kingol4801 The people in this comment section are meat riding homelander and Over estimating his abilities so badly. You're right, though. Someone said homelander wasn't even using a fraction of his power against soldier boy.
homelander has more potential, people forget that a supe made with normal compound v cannot surpass (or pretty much only like 2 people can) supes like soldier boy or stormfront who were made with the original compound v or homelander who was an experiment and half of his blood is compound v. realistically sam is probaly around meave's level at best
Just watched gen V and its really good but the seven beats everybody in gen v, people need to stop riding sam, if they were as powerful as people think, vought would have paid way more attention to them like they did with ryan
The show implied that Homelander was tearing people up with his bare hands which is why they aren’t laser marks on his prey. If you watch the boys the cartoon we see Homelander rip a girls face off on accident without trying. Homelander has been doing the same thing except he’s done it to an actual supe. Supes have far more AP than regular humans so Homelander pretty much has the better raw strength feat as of now.
@@kuba1672 Sam isn't surpassing homelander, home lander barely reached his potential or at least 45% of it because he's lazy full potential homelander would destroy sam at his full potential. Sam can't even beat Soldier boy who is 2nd to home lander when it comes to power.

this is already a dumb idea because homelander is literally the strongest supe in the entire the boys franchise this shit might be on purpose so that the sigma homolander can take down the icecream haircut gen z’er so everyone will comment🗿🗿🗿
See this is tricky cause gen v said golden boy is at par with homelander but sam is stronger than golden boy. So if homelander did his usual cocky lecture before killing someone theoretically sam could possibly break a couple bones and or possibly homelanders neck killing him. If sam is as strong as they say he is more than likely laser proof
They said golden boy will be as popular as homelander, Homelander was strategically created to be the strongest and he is. The one right behind him is soldier boy, the rest don't come close
Comments like this make me wonder if people watch the show with their eyes closed or something. How much more on the nose does the show need to be. Their crime fighting class includes fucking media training. Brink does not care about the actual strength of Godlen boy, he cares about their profitability, as Vought does. Sam shows ZERO feats near the strength of Homelander, for fuck sales a strong enough taser knocks out Sam, while Stormfront, who is obviously much fucking stronger than a taser, is afraid of Homelander. They experimented on Sam by stabbing things in his spine, meanwhile Vought’s experiments on Homelander confirmed that he is for all intents and purposes invulnerable. The same experiments would literally not work on Homelander since his skin could not be penetrated. He was gonna defeat Soldier Boy, who literally inhaled Haloethane like nothing and was the premier superhero of his time, had it not been for a souped up Butcher interfering. Sam couldn’t even finish off Andre. Like pay attention to the fucking shows you watch lmao
@Goldfish1060 damn never heard of a theory? I've seen the show and read the comics. Both are very different. You're also not realizing that the younger supes are stronger than older ones. We see this when homelander couldn't cut stormfront with lasers, but ryan not only cut them but burned hot enough to also cauterize them shut. Why do you think the show is putting so much emphasis on how homelander is aging?
@@gregburtirwindale2981 Homelander wasn’t even trying to kill Stormfront tho??? He started very ligh (as light as he could) and Stormfront told him to up the ante. Ryan has Homelander genes and is the ONLY one that is said to have the potential to surpass Homelander. Your theory doesn’t work since there’s zero indication that they implied that Golden Boy was on par with Homelander physically, and it was much much more heavily implied that Brink was buttering him up so he can be a marketable and profitable asset for Vought. (Sam, who is stronger than Golden boy, struggled to put down Andre, while Homelander is shown to tear apart supes with little effort. The Deep tanked hits from A Train and Starlight, and the boys left because they didn’t even think they can kill him, and he is PETRIFIED by Homelander and his strength). If Sam couldn’t even significantly hurt Andre, what makes you think he can even hurt Homelander, who essentially won a 1 v 1 against Soldier Boy? If Vought legitimately believed Sam was stronger than Homelander, then why would they put him in a facility with little oversight? Homelander was subjected to extreme tests like Sam but unlike Sam the tests concluded that Homelander is essentially invulnerable, while Sam was stabbed through in the spine (the same test failed on Homelander, they could not penetrate his skin). High pitched noise incapacitated Sam (a weakness all supes have) yet it only mildly annoyed Homelander. Ryan’s whole narrative purpose in the tv show was originally to be a contingency plan for Homelander, if Vought legitimately believed Golden boy was on par then they would of treated him EXTREMELY different. I can go on and on, but I see essentially 0 proof that Sam can injure Homelander before Homelander kills him. No one has ever managed to even come close to breaking his bones, Soldier Boy couldn’t, Maeve needed to shove a pick through his ear canal and in the end he shrugged that off. Black Noir was essentially one shot by him. Man i just don’t see Sam anywhere near his level.
A lot of people don’t really realize that Homelander never really had like- an actual fight in his career before he fought that 1v3 in season 3. Everything before then was child’s play where he was in control
Sam is stronger than Golden Boy, and Golden Boy was said to have the potential to be as powerful as Homelander soon. So imo, Sam has high chances of winning against Homelander.
not everything a CHARACTER says is true bro. If Hughie started saying he's stronger than homelander would you use that to scale him above homelander? They said Golden Boy can be as strong as Homelander but that was literally cap from the school.
No real proof, especially since Butcher thought he was Homelander level with Temp V, ends up with him and Soldier boy losing to Homelander in a fight and Hughie had to distract him for them to get the jump on him
@iSnipCoM1 even if Sam does end up as strong as homelander, homelander can still fly and shoot lasers which Sam can’t do. Also you wouldn’t say super boy prime is stronger than Superman
@iSnipCoM1 than Sam is not equivalent to him, same might end up being as strong as homelander but still homelander will have extra ability’s that same just doesn’t have
Homelander also takes combat speed, he should be able to fight at super speed (The same reason why Superman despite being faster than light also fights at human speed is so the audience can see it)
