Sam West describes relief at being protected by RST's Airbag technology after HUGE #TT2022 crash! 🔥
During the Tuesday evening of practice week at the 2022 Isle of Man TT, RST Factory rider Sam West crashed at high-speed at Laurel Bank.
Sam high-sided into a wall and his bike burst into flames. The incident caused a red-flag, subsequently ending the session.
After being airlifted to hospital, it soon became clear that his injuries were minor, with the fast reactions of the TT marshals, along with his RST V4.1 airbag leather suit, ensuring no major damage was caused.
In this video, Sam thanks those that helped him in the immediate aftermath of the crash, including the TT marshals and emergency servies, and describes his relief in being fully protected by RST's integrated airbag technology.
