About Sama Abdulhadi:
Sama Abdulhadi’s rise to becoming one of the first DJs to emerge internationally from Palestine can be traced back to Beirut, where she immersed herself in the burgeoning local techno scene. Her years in the Lebanese capital not only developed in her a singular musical aesthetic, but educated her as to the technicalities of mixing records and forming a narrative by doing so. Her sets, while rooted in high-octane, punchy techno, have a distinguished and defined ark, encompassing a broad range of sounds in their beginning and end.

Such a badass! I'm obsessed! Back in my 90s rave days, progressive house was what kept me on a dancefloor. Sama captures the vibe of that era and marries it splendidly with today's techno sounds. I'm now 48 and have been a chair dancer for years. Starting with that Boiler Room set from Palestine, Sama got me off my ass and back onto my feet to dust off those old moves I thought I had put to bed forever. That right there says something! The fact that there are 804 people as of this writing who dislike this explains where much of the world's hate comes from. Fortunately the 28,000+ who liked it could eat that 804 for breakfast, spit them out and then smash them under our feet as we tear up a dancefloor.

I agree about the energy Sama show and shares : she has the PASSION, and it just moves crowds. Now about Ameile and Charlotte, I have to admit BUT... seen the number of sets they have to do every week, month, there's a moment they loose inspiration an/or creativity. Noone is eternally productive and renewing things without having to slow down and step back for a while, Its probably trime for them to do so :)) No offense I hope, but at least its how i feel as dj myself :)

My guess is not, and that you, like a lot of people, are seeing this as an opportunity to make life difficult for this strong, independent woman who has already given the world more than these hystericals will do in their entire lives, together. These people quite often tend to be men with an inferiority complex, the biggest complex being embodied by women like Sama. And you know: the connecting and uniting music, so refinely propagated by Sama, won't go away anymore. Those who adopt the mind-freeing vibes it brings, don't feel the urge of constantly judging and punishing others by their standards. And if they believe in God, they know that judgment belongs to God. And that they don't have to bear that burden, in fact, it's not up to them at all.

Just found this set and her as an artist and wow track selection and transition from track to track E major goes well with A minor depending on the overall bass drum sound which she has mixing down very well. And u don't need any validation from someone who hasn't been able to get one track played yet by a popular artist that iv created. So 100% amazing vibe and would love to see you live, NYC or Ibiza. As the gig is begining, i can see the dust rising into a cloud .. The vibrations ionize the cloud and thunder starts rolling ... The hills start shaking to the vibes of the music ... This pulsating aura starts showing around the set ... Then, as the music starts echoing into the planes, massive clouds of dust start moving in sync with the music and with the rythm of Sama' ... What she doesn't know is that the pulsating energy vibe of Earth is syncing to this massive energy that is being moved through sound and heart ... The thunders begin to show their light iluminating the hills and planes with earthly colors ... The music is pumping and so the this massive pulsating energy that emanates from the land ... As Sama' is dancing, the clouds form light orbs that surround her, with this energy so raw, so grounded, so dense, one can only feel through motion and sound ... As the gig ends, everything gets back to normal ... Everyone looks at the video and says: " What was that, what just happened ? " Multiple comments erupt, and then, one guy says only this : " Earth and sound united in energy, The pulse of the Earth combined with the power of music and good vibes. This is a rare manifestation of the Power of Sama' - Earth Spirit " ... I heck enjoyed this so much ...

@@Camwin yes, I agrre. Detroit, Chicago and Berlin have shared a lot of electronic music from the late 80’ until now. But the beats of this set are pure techno, with the snares playing a fundamental role on the techno rythm
