Samantha is an absolute genius of tone and texture with her amps, and her playing is at once a textbook from which she is continually teaching. And she is such a God-damn fantastic sexy soulful singer. This show is Undeniable and Undisputed. We're seeing a master at work here.

The sound is nice and clear on this. Looks like a small intimate venue, not usually the case these days. What makes her shows so much fun is you can tell how much she is into performing. I just got a ticket to see her in June with Jesse Dayton, but it's in a big theater.

Just saw Samantha last night (2/4) when she opened for Kenny Wayne Shepherd in ATL ... opened the set with Bulletproof and blew me away with a fantastic rendition of Neil Young's Don't Let it Bring You Down.

Saw Samantha Fish last year at the New York State Blues Festival. She is awesome

It does have the virtue of mixing vocals and guitar way out front so we can hear them clearly, but other than that the sound is not at all good for me. It sounds like somebody rolled off the high and low frequencies way too much, and also compressed the dynamic range, so overall the sound lacks impact.
