It's a fun video, a catchy tune, and the singer looks great in it. But an additional point of interest is that it beautifully showcases the unique colour timing of the 1980s, with its blues, pinks, purples, magentas, etc. It was a very attractive colour palette to view. These days, digital colour grading has replaced all of that with uglier colours (teal or pea-soup green instead of blue; orange instead of pink/magenta; sallow yellow instead of white). But the lovely colour timing of the 1980s was a significant reason why everything from that era -- from movies to TV shows to music videos -- looked so great and still does.

I adore Sam! She did such a great cover of this song. Stock, Aiken, Waterman were the perfect choice to produce this song. They were on fire in the 80s. They had the most definitive sound of the decade. Pure CLASSIC! ❤

Yes Samantha was a lovely Item back in the 80,s it was considered rather daring at that time, today its almost a breath from the vest only. But a lovely woman with a nice voice. 🤠
