I donated to Greater Good Charities because they are doing pet care and rescue as well. (After I checked them out.) For Milton I probably will go with SP 🤔

I have been in the EM world for over 20 years and Samaritans Purse is by far the most impressive organization I have ever seen. NASCAR style trucks loaded to the roof with water, food, generators, etc... They truly make a difference!

From what I have seen so far, the efforts of private citizens, businesses, and non-profit organizations are the ones making a difference while government entities are mostly creating obstacles. We need to get back to taking care of each other and stop looking to politicians to take care of us.

It depends. Was whatever they got (because there are reports they arent even getting the full $750.00) a grant, as it should be - or a loan? If it was a loan, they can lose their property if they dont pay it back. Then again, if what was their property is now under a displaced river, I guess they have no reason to pay it back, even if it was a loan.

They are a blessing. They I believe came to Maui when Lahaina burned down. Never heard of them but now even more they are growing recognition to help the need.

I have noticed a lot of people are giving thanks to Samaritans Purse and they deserve and so do FEMA. The big difference is Samaritans Purse exists through donations but FEMA has to wait until Congress decides to allocate them money but people are playing politics with people's lives. Samaritans Purse has been around since the 1970s and they actually help in the aid of people throughout the world no matter who they are. They have aided Ukraine since the war started in 2022. They help in every disaster no matter where in the world. Samaritans Purse has given assistance in every tornado, hurricane or whatever disaster that's happened in the United States. By the way I hope you all don't turn your backs on them because they help people outside the United States like Ukraine.

That’s ALL entire families got in Lahaina, Hawaii !!!!! And most were turned away from that !!!! While FEMA was at the Four Seasons Resort for $1,000 per night !!!! Do NOT a give a dime to fema !!! All my hard earned money to help these poor people will go to Samaritan’s Purse !!! Thank God for them !!!

The government would like us to be beat down, but we won't be and this should be a clear signal about what America is about and what we won't stand for, and if the government won't do the right thing we will take care of ourselves, but don't you dare come in here and tell us what to do.
I was watching others videos whom actually live there in parts of N.C and one stated that there is a cover sheet on the FEMA papers you have to fill out, to get ANY hel;p, and the print is so small you need a magnfying glass to see the print, which states you have a certain amount of time to REPAY FEMA and if you don;t, the Government has the right to come in and Take all of your property! and one gentleman stated his daughter ONLY got 300.00 from FEMA, and NOTHING ELSE!!

Compost toilets are easy to make ! Make family cloths out of any fabric. A flannel sheet is the best family cloth in Lou of toilet paper. But any fabric will do. Get a bucket if you can find hay or coffee grounds they are fantastic in a compost toilet. If you run a noodle around the bucket. Like the ones sold at dollar tree it will make that bucket much easier to set on. But it’s a toilet in a pinch. And toilet paper not necessary, just make family clothes. For showers take a 2 gallon sprayer. It’s a nice shower. If you can fill the sprayer with water let it set in the sun all day. It’s a good warm shower in the evening. As far as water you need water purification. That’s easy To Make it with buckets and rocks . You want the water to pass through the rocks. Try to RU-vid videos on making water purification. But believe me it’s easy. And boiling water out of a river is good too. I pray you have matches , lighters , and a few things to help make these emergency toilets and cloths and water purifiers and shower. Until much better comes. And it will. Look to the future at what you will have again. It’s not over ! Vote ! Trump / Vance 2024.
