Waleed Javed It’s something I’m trying to change, by connecting my interest in history and my love for my deen. By studying Islamic history in depth, I can hopefully revive 1000+ years of lost history and make Muslims aware of the contributions of those before them. In shaa Allah!

Are you also going, or already been to Bokhara? In Iran we studied, in detail about the history of all of middle Asia, and any other area that had anything to do with our own history. This included Egypt and Greece and Rome as well as China, the Moguls and of course Timor Lang ( referring to his limp ). Can you imagine starting in grade school on all this history!
@myview6852
@myview6852 5 лет назад
No Name it was called بخارا ( Bokhara) in ancient times when it was part of the Persian Empire. Before even the Muguls or Alexander. Names do change with time and different rules. Just like ‘lang” which means lame has become part of Timur’s name. It was added to his name after he sustained a leg injury in war. Most of the names have Farsi roots. Like Shah e zendah or Afrasiab.

Oh how just I wish your vlogs never end. Oh how deep I wish it. Guys this one deserved three episodes. So much to explore, hats off to you guys you covered. Intriguing stories... The astronomical observatory. No wonders the European renaissance's foundation laid by these civilizations.... Hey hold on. Just wondering if you know figurative Art is prohibited in Islam. It just clicked me only Muslims through out humans history are the pioneers of Geometrical Art... The cosmic patters, stalactites, honeycomb structures. No other people could do it. Food for thought, when God forbids us from figurative Art, He is actually pushing us through exploring our souls towards novelty and invention and in this case the Islamic Art, whoa!!! God bless you Vagabrothers 👍👍👍
