Thayir Vadai!
Ingredients:
Curd - 250 Grams.
Asafoetida - 25 Grams.
Mustard Seeds - 50 Grams.
Cumin Seeds - 15 Grams.
Curry Leaves- Needed Amount.
Ginger-25 Grams.
Green Chillies - 3 Pcs.
Coriander Leaves - Needed Amount
Dried Chillies - 25 Grams.
Urad Dal -300 Grams.
Tooty Fruity - 75 Grams.
Tamarind Chutney - NEEDED AMOUNT
Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder -15 Grams
Kara Boondhi!
Ingredients:
Gram Flour - 100 Grams.
Rice Flour - 50 Grams.
Asafoetida - 15 Grams.
Chilli Powder - 25 Grams.
Salt - Needed Amount.
Oil - Needed Amount.
Sugar - 10 Grams.
Curry Leaves - Needed Amount.
Cashew Nuts - 75 Grams
Method:
Vadai
Take a pan heat the oil. Take Urad dal soak it in water to 4 to 5 hour then grind it well till it becomes flour.
Now add few pinches of salt to the flour, Asafoetida to it . Mix it well.
Now roll the flour make a hole and fry it in oil till it becomes Golden brown.
Then soak it in water to get softness.
Kara Boondhi
Take gram flour, add few spoons of rice flour for crispness, Asafoetida Powder, Chilli powder and few pinches of salt now mix it well with water.
Now spread the paste in a jalli karandi and fry the little balls in oil till it becomes golden brown.
Now add few curry leaves, cashew nuts with it. Mix it with a few pinches of chilli powder, Salt and Sugar.
Thayir Vadai
Take few cups of curd in a bowl whisk it well with few pinches of Asafoetida, Salt and Sugar.
Take oil in a pan fry few Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds and curry leaves now add it in curd along with finely chopped Green chillies and ginger.
Mix it well. Now the curd is ready
Finally, take the soaked vadais from the bowl add Prepared curd , Kara Boondhi, and serve it with few tooty fruity and cumin seed powder.
You can also serve it with tamarind chutney or tooty fruity instead of Kara Boondhi .
