I'm African but my heart is in Bossa Nova. I don't understand the language but my spirit interpretes the music. It speaks to my soul and my being. It heals and makes me so happy. ❤️
Same here bro ! I may not understand the words / language but it resonates with my inner self ,something that is relaxing, soothing & which connects me to people who share the same appreciation of the melody.
I had a girlfriend once and just before I got her I was I was with a dancer and she heard about it and later confessed it didn't think she was good enough and couldn't wasn't professional dancer well I married here found an empty empty parking lot play harvest Moon by Neil Young twirled her once and she took over that girl could bossa Nova tango foxtrot and down the list I still love her to this damn day although she's gone and has moved away we keep in touch with little bit I still want to find that empty and twirl her to the tangle the bossa nova for a foxtrot and gaze of the sparkle in her eyes I'm Chinook her name was Veronica milagro's she married a guy after man and so now her name champagne I called him
Second time comment: "I'm in love!"! Learning Portuguese & nothing inspires me to play again than a beautiful voice & Brazilian music since age nine (1967) to play again (Last played professionally in 2002). Rock bands messed with my hearing, jazz no one special to inspire me after 1984 and went into a medical profession that did nothing for me in longing for my best friends who could really play. Real honey to my ears: Brazilian 1960's-early 80's, & later including Joan Chamorro's student performances; secondly throughout life; American Jazz 1943-1955, and some beyond & before 1925- 1990+. Music is the heartbeat of America; North America, Central Amercia, South America, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, & me. I need to play again to feel the joy.
Saludos.
SOY MEXICANO PERO ME GUSTA LA MUSICA BRASILEÑA BOSANOVA NO PASA DE MODA SIEMPRE ES ACTUAL Y ADMIRO A SUS HERMOSAS MUJERES Y SU PAIS CORCOBADO PAN DE AZUCAR SALUD FELICIDADES
Brazilian music is the best to listen to. Very classy, never gets old. Gets you in the right mood the second it's sung or played. Especially with this lady, so effortless in her rendition great voice. I'd love to dance this song with her. Obrigado.
Darn good thinking, I wholly agree but must admit I love to dance and to sing, both. Now if I can just learn a bit of 'Tap" I'll be happy. Ad I do like the song, the melody and rhythm is addictive. donrjr
I was just going to say that! Compare to a modern idol on an explosive set with pink smoke and two kilowatts of sound. To do this kind of performance you have to be GOOD.
The best version of this song yet. There are dozens of recordings of Samba de Verao, but Rosa Bittolo' Bon's soulful delivery and note perfect voice and Renato's super swing guitar work make this recording a classic.
It is always pleasure to watch how professionals work. Looks like it is a child play, no strain and easy money. But behind the scene, it is years of hard work, learning and rehearsals.
I really like the terrific rendition of this song by Ms Rosa Bittolo I'm becoming an avid fan of her! Her casual performance is truly elegant & the unique feminine voice is captivating ! More success to you & your group. Thank you.
Just stumbled on this but as soon as she started to sing I started smiling and can’t stop. Just wish I could have been there in person. Pure musical perfection.
@@@ ... la música brasileña es la más linda del mundo ... acaricia el oído, te susurra al corazón, simplemente te derrite ... gracias Brasil ... te adoro ... abrazos desde Miami
It is "So Nice" to see that there are others, like me, who love Bossa Nova. It inspired me to download a course (Fluenz) and start learning Brazilian Portuguese. I have watched all of the RU-vid vids re. Brazil and its culture, geography, architecture, cost of living estimates, etc... I hope to spend some time in Brazil someday and find someone who will teach me how to play bossa correctly. I also know that I will need a lot of help learning to speak the language fluently. I know that bossa is not in the mainstream in Brazil, but the country is fascinating, regardless, and somehow I know that mixing it up with the people will inspire me to continue studying this beautiful song form.
@@michellemagdalenerivera4456 The English title for this song is "So Nice". There are so many different arrangements and performances of it...but this trio treatment is really great.
Bellissima, magistrale versione...
I've been listening to bossa nova since the mid-1960;s. I'll always be a fan. Thanks for posting this. It's one of the most pleasing versions of this tune I've heard. Very nicely performed.
