i think samburu projects are only considered in samburu west whereas samburu east and north which are more dry compared to the samburu west are neglected by county government and hence also influencing NGO's to neglect the most affected regions.
This is a good move. Yet, you need to cover the North and the East too. The whole of this coverage is central alone ( a section of Samburu that could be considered to be wetter than the other parts.) And Samburu ( originated from the Lokop word 'Sampur' which is a name for the purse/handbag made from a cow's hide) The flamboyance, or the colourful ( actually a merged tradition and modern dress code) attire is what the tourists referred as ' butterfly people ' A butterfly is called a 'sampiripiri ' . But with proper evidence you are at liberty to support this as the root name too.
